Has anyone else seen this? It was a pretty good documentary. Done by some guys from poughkipsee, Ny:)

Ya it was a good movie. Shows how the media really fucks shit up

x2

and shows how dumb gov't is. the senator leading the charge on the baseball hearings (and consequently making strides illegal for the public) didn't even know the laws regarding alcohol and tobacco use - even though they kill infinitely more people than steroids ever will!

shit just flames me up :redhot:

I've seen this movie so many times! I made my gf watch it when I admitted to her I was on steroids.

What do you guys think the little brother was on? He benched like 700 lbs!

Yeah this movie is bad ass. I too made my gf watch it. She knew I was on juice but it made her nervous cause she didn't know about it. I think this helped dispel some of the hyped up media rumors about steroids.

His brother (the wrestler) died not to long ago, I think in 2008. A lot of people were saying it was from AAS abuse but I doubt it, it was probably just because of the doc that everyone thought it was from that. But who knows

I had no idea the one brother died, thats too bad..I wonder if the other brother ever did a cycle >>

you guys are lucky who made their GFs watch it and they understood. i tried the same with mine and when i brought it up to her that i was "thinking about it" she flipped.

hopefully she never finds all the goodies i've got hidden around my room...

Seems like the brother had other demons that caused him to commit suicide. He was never gonna make it big in the fickle business of wrestling.

I still see Don Hooton around various parts of the internet. Dude needs to get a life and consider that antidepressants caused his kids death. Alcohol is legal too.

Same here. She watched it, realized how aas isn't the devil, but than still flipped shit...was kind of funny lol.

When I googled about "mad dog's" death the first hit has these wonderful quotes:

The cause of his death hasn't yet been announced, but the assumption is that it's substance abuse-related.
Bigger, Stronger, Faster stands as a cautionary tale against the use of steroids and other drugs, and Mike Bell's death certainly substantiates the film's message.

Totally missed the boat on what the film was about I think....

I mad my wife watch it a few months ago to get the ok for my next cycle. Now she wants to run Anavar (var) and HCG.

It lays the rumors to rest and shows normal people who are on gear.
5 stars

Don Hooton is fucking retarded! His son was too young to be on gear, he was on ant-depressants which cause more suicides in young people than anything out there, and he had been battling depression issues his entire life. Which imo was appressed homosexuality. Not being a dick I respect the fact that he was upset his son died and wants a "bad guy" to blame, anyone would. But this retard needs to point the finger at the right person...

Oh and did Mike Bell die from a suicide?

I couldnt agree more. Don Hooten is extremely mislead and dilarious if he thinks steroids killed his son. Alot of great facts in that documentary. And who could forget the one and only Greg Valentino. I know hes the most hated guy in bb, but I think hes awesome. Guy says it like it is, theres no question about that. When asked if he thought steroids were "american", he says "I think steroids are as american as apple piiiieee". Ha love that.

I searched google for mad dogs death. Most of the results came up waiting for toxicology results. Found one that said his death was from "Accidental" inhalation of dust off one of those aerosol cans used for blowing dust off your keyboard or some shit. He was prolly huffing that :(. Pretty sad, the guy had a wife and kids.

No it wasn't the idiot who filmed it hasn't a clue about steroids. THe movie given steroid a bad name the problem is he has a IQ of 85. IT very poorly done with poor informations with a substandard view of pretty un-intelligent examples of steroid users. The truth is most steroids users at the time of the movie were law enforcement or military.

You shouldn't be so quick to discount Don Hooton. He's the first to tell you his sone is dead because he took his to the doctors who didn't know how do PCT for his son. Don is doing good work to keep kids off Steroids. We applaud his efforts. Kids have no business talking steroids.

DPR I agree kids shouldn't be on steroids and that fight is one worth fighting. But just like Reefer madness, you shouldn't lie to people to get them to stay away from bad things. His whole campaign is about steroids killing people. This is far from the truth, nothing we take kills people. (other than slin)

I just think he has no right to compare the things we do to smoking crack or shooting heroin. I am no junkie, I'm a responsible adult that takes these chemicals responsibly to better myself.
