call from police?

hey bro,
Recently i sent money using WU out of ocuntry. today i got a call from the local police dept. from the detective office telling me to call them back. i call them back and the person that called me wasnt there but they dont know why they called me.
What should i do. if they call me again can i tell them i didnt send any money using WU.

I dont know if I would ignore them. When you called back, it was a correct number to a police station right??? It could be non related and just some shitty ass luck on timing for you and if you ignore it you could mess yourself up regarding another issue. I would call back and find out whats up then deny sending anything. If you did it in person with cash, it would be hard to prove it was you.

I called them back but they dont know why they called me/? yeah it was a police station but tehy didnt know why the guy htat called me called em and he wasnt there.

If they don't call you back then you should forget about it.


Ignoring them will probably not result in your home being searched. You don't have to talk to the police and if they already had enough information to get a search warrant and bust you, They would not be calling you on the telephone. However just from sending money, I doubt they could ever get a search warrant.

Fuck man, it could be anything.

Someone could have complainted that you were driving like an idiot. The police ran you licence plate and they are calling you as "community service".

They could have found some property that belongs to you (maybe lost wallet, DL, ID card)

Could be a million things. I would call them and if are you questioned about the money transfer say it was for computer part or something.

Then get in touch with your source and have the package sent to a different address. Obviously yours is going to be flagged.

I doubt it's related to steroids at this point, as they wouldn't bother to call you about it. they'd do a controlled delivery and put you in handcuffs after the signature went down.

it might have something to do with you sending money out of country via WU. It is illegal to send money out of the country via WU for business purposes, and they might be double checking on that at the advice of the local WU agency.

Unlikely for them to bust you, as people have said before in this thread. i am a PO myself last time. If we do ring you up, its not going to be much of a big deal....if its big, we ensure we 'get the correct guy' to 'listen' or 'talk' to us directly, as via phone there is no way for us to ascertain who you are.

Furthermore, if they want to bust you they won't even bother ringing you up unless the investigator is retard.

If u do recieve your pack and it is left immediately write in marker.....return to sender, sender unknown. Let it sit by your front door on the inside for 2-3 days til it looks cool.
