Caught in a "Sting"

With all the recent news of certain overseas raids, I became curious about US activity. You never see anyone on Cops with gear, right? Anybody out there have any stories, and better yet, lessons to learn. Have you been the target of a sting or bust? Is it safe or silly to assume us little fish are allowed to swim through the net?

Oh well I should know better than to ask a question we all want to pretend can, "never happen to me".

D-man, you are so quick to pick one line out of a post and infer the post is without merit. I know gear is not a ghetto drug. Cops has been on for over 20 years and has over 2000 episodes. Are they all in the ghetto? It was simply a statement about the lack of TV and news exposure of America's fight against steroids.

I just wanted an honest discussion on the law enforcements current efforts to curb the import of gear into the USA. I don't think anyone is silly enough to think "Operation Raw Deal" is the end of law enforcements involvement.

90% of cop shows are at the scene outside ones house, not alot of people that juice carry there shit on them.. I've only seen a few cops shows where they had a warrant to someones house.. DEA is another story, however I think they are looking for SALES of drugs not personal use.. I dont know TONS of people who sell big quantities of steroids unlike weed, coke, crack ext.

I also know DEA agent tactics and they only arrest street level users to get up the food chain. Now this tactic can not work if the next guy up is in some shithole country with no extradition treaty and no laws against AAS drug use.

I dont understand why you would think cops would even CONSIDER spending the time to bust a small time SELF using juicer? You wouldnt even go to jail, just pay some fines.. They want the BIG timers, period. If police saw a huge package, opened it and saw 200 10ml vials of test, THEN maybe they'd set up that sting your talking about, but otherwise, they dont give a shit.

Im in the UK and I don't think cops are that concerned with steroid use over here..
When I read posts from members worrying about gear getting taken by customs and potentially getting traced and facing charges I just can't relate to that at all , so the U.S or Canada must have real strict laws..
Cops in the UK don't want to have to work to catch criminals , they prefer to sit in their cars with speed guns or checking car registration plates to see who they can charge for not paying tax or insurance.. Even if you report a crime saying you have a robber pinned to the ground , the chances are the cops will ask if you can take him home and keep him there untill they're available to come round tomorrow..

The only way you get done with steroids over here is if you hand yourself in..

Yes and no, they still arrest normal users who simply buy themselves 1 cycles worth at a time. They do this simply to keep the threat alive, which deters a decent portion of would be AAS users from ordering online or by phone connections. You just got to hope your not the unlucky bastard being used to keep that threat alive. This though has a negative side effect in which it generates local dealers who are willing to take the risk. Dealing means using guns, using guns means lives are on the lines. Dealing in any substance creates a black market economy, in which others will desire to make profit as well. Thus now we have conflict developing out of it...

All because the retards are too incompetent and suck too much Pharma balls to allow personal freedom.

Its like legalizing weed. Doing so would snap the legs out of quite a few major gangs. It would also lower alot of crime, and hell admit it relieve quite a few stressed people. I am not really "for" it, but I am not so stupid as to prevent the legalization of such a thing knowing its benefit for man here in the states.

Same with AAS, wtf is it illegal for when Tylenol kills craploads of people a year, but AAS does not? I have made long posts before explaining the legalization process, the development of clinics, the fees and registrations, you have to grab a ID to use, and then they can offer doctors who specialize in the fields. Of course you would have to accept the fact you cannot compete in sports that have banned the substances. But hell if Steroid league football comes out, THAT will be the goods.

Look at tobacco, kills so many...provides no benefits...Steroids...can be used safely...there is no safe usage of a cig
