Got a vial of test coming to my place.
Some guy calls and tells me he is my neighbor. From same apt. Number but different building. He said mailman must have made a mistake. I asked to leave it by my door, he said he afraid someone might take it. Very professional communication skills. I'm at work right now.
Package coming from country where revolution broke down recently, so it was held at someone kind of international packaging place for a week, which wasn't a case with the last order.
Signature supposed to be required also to get the package.
Question is how the fuck did he get my cell number?

Did you submit your cell number at the time of purchase? It's not uncommon that some shipping companies require numbers for delivery. Otherwise call that guy back and ask him how he got your number.

I don't think I did. Should I just let him keep it?

I would call him. Get his name and find out how he got your number, because... "You're not expecting a package". His answers to these questions will break his intention. You can also plug his phone number into facebook to see if its linked to an account. Or google it to see if it's a common number.

don't stress, worse case.. you let it go.

I would just go get it. How much gear did you order? If it's like $10k worth I'd be worried, but I doubt the police would spend resources to try to bust someone for a couple of vials.

That's what I was thinking, to tell him that hmm it weird, I didn't order anything. Also last name on a package is a fake name. I he told me apt building number, I will drive by there and check if there is same apt number.

This is a emergency order, one of my vials turned into blurry horse piss so I had to order just 1 vial.

Well, I'd really hate to be wrong about this, but it seems to me it would be like the DEA setting up an elaborate sting operation because they think you might a one joint. I would hope they'd have better things to do than worry about one guy with one vial. Maybe your fake name is similar to this guys real name and the mail carrier got confused.

If you left your cell phone number with your apartment manager, he very well could have called them to see if they had a contact number for you. It is a bit odd as my neighbors would just keep my package lol, but maybe this is just a case of a good samaritan?

If I got a package that wasn't mine, and I lived in an apartment complex, I wouldn't worry about getting ahold of the actual recipient. I'd just give it to the complex office and let them deal with it. but people are different, who knows.

With letters, I just write delivered to wrong address, and put it back in the outgoing mail.

I'd defiantly call the guy back n question the shit outta him. Like Halfwit said, i toss ALL the mail that comes for the person that used to live in my apartment. U better believe if it was a package, I'm opening that shit n prolly keeping it lol! I'm a good Samaritan, just not that good ;)
