12 sets here on Tri/Bi day. It shows too. I have the best forearms around. Here ya go:

1. 2 sets of 15(cross-body hammer curls).

2. 2 sets of 15(reverse-grip preachers)done w/ a straightbar. Make sure you stretch the whole way down on these.

3. 2 sets of 15(Barbell Wrist Curls) Seated w/ wrists on the end of a bench.

4. 2 sets of 15(Standing behind the back wrist curls).

5. 2 sets of 15(Standing D-Bell wrist curls). With arms at your sides as if poised to do shrugs, simply curl the hands into your thighs.

6. 2 sets of 15(reverse wrist curls)straightbar. Pause at the top.

i love doing forearms. nothing better then tight feeling you get from working them. feels like they are just going to explode. i would recommend doing them after bi's. if you do them before bi's and you have worked them hard enough just trying to do a bicep curl with the bar should be painful. forearm work will also increase you other lifts as well like bench and deads.
Yes, I agree. The thing is that most people do not understand when I tell them is that the Biceps end toward the middle of the brachioradialis. Therefor it would be very wise to do them on bicep days

I've been doing 4-5 sets of seated barbell wrist curls and reverse wrist curls. With reverse wrist curls I do the 30 lb barbell and drop down to the 20 lb one after I can do no more. But when I do the regular wrist curls I use the 110 barbell, which is the highest of the set weight barbells in my gym. I guess I have to try the olympic bar for that now. Or maybe now I'll only be able to do those standing ones behind my back.

I train mine regularly, but I tend to concentrate on sport specific applications. In my case I do a lot of static holds and farmer's walk, as well as pinch grip exercises. I will occasionally do hammer curls or reverse curls with a false grip, and these are the only curling exercises I do.

I do 'em at the end of back and biceps day. Behind the back BB curls w/ heavy weight, reverse DB curls, and seated BB or DB wwwrist curls. I love the pump!

I love BB curls behind the back, great pump. Reverse DB/BB curls on the preacher are a nice pumper too, plus Scott hanging forearm curls for pause reps. Ouch ;)

i used to do them on off days (gripper, wrist roller, etc.) but since doing heavy deads i don't work them directly anymore. i would overtrain pretty quickly.
damn did i change my mind about this. i think i missed out on some nice gains by not training them directly. started working them again though.

crazymike ain't no joke.... Anyways, i do hammer curls, but my forearms seem to get a good work out everyday except leg day, so i think they benefit as a secondary muscle, but during wrestling season i would work them out like crzy for a monkey grip. My buddy's dad has massive calves and forearms, he looks goofy, but can hold a bottle of beer very tightly...LOL

I do them after my arm workout. Dumb or Bar wrist curls and reverse wrist curls.

At my gym we have a thing where you have to squeeze these things together. I do reps on them, but I like to pile on the weight and keep my hands closed for 20-30 seconds at a time.

be careful, its easy to over-train forearms since you use em on so many exercises.

At home I have a piece of training equipment call the forearmblaster. Its basically a tube with cord that you attach weights. This is an awesome exercise and I have seen great results on my forearms.

I do hammer curls on bi day, but that's it. They seem to get worked doing just about everything.
