End of the year cycle to prepare me for AAS cycle next year.

OK then, I trust you 100% so I'll take Saturdays and Sundays off and not do any type of workout whatsoever. Do you think it is too much to do a CrossFit WOD and a 1.5 hour Olympic weightlifting workout on Fridays? My CrossFit workout would be at 9:00 am and the Olympic weightlifting workout would be at 2:30 pm.

Just do what feels right. Listen to your body and brain. Steroids are great and all, but they don't make you Superman.

Nobody here can answer that question. We don't know how hard you train and what your experience is.

Here are the nutritional macros for Friday:

Protein - 180.3 grams
Fats - 106.8 grams
Carbs - 66.9 grams
Net Carbs - 56.4 grams
Sugar - 21.5 grams
Calories - 1950.9 calories

Well, I saw my doctor today...something is definitely wrong with me. I have no energy and my recovery is taking way way longer than it should. On Monday, I went to my CrossFit and did a workout that consists of Overhead Squats, Abmat sit-ups, and American kettle bell swings. It was 3 rounds with a rep scheme of 21, 15, and 9. I finished it in 10 minutes buy my ass was kicked. Normally, I'm good to go the next day but today is Friday and I'm still fucked up bad. In fact, I only ran half a mile yesterday before I had to stop because I was dying and normally I can run 4 miles no problem. I'm getting some bad liver pains and fatigue is setting in really hard. When I took my blood work to my doctor, he freaked out on how high my liver enzymes were. I was sent to Quest Diagnostics for more blood work and then to an imaging place for an ultrasound on my liver. I have stopped taking that crazy ephedra fat burner and I will completely stop working out , I'm so weak right now I can't do shit, until I see my doctor again so we can go over what the hell is going on with me. Unfortunately that means that my prohormone cycle is not happening...I've cancelled the cycle. Hopefully I can get healthy by January so that I can do my first AAS cycle and start the diet that 3J is going to formulate for me. It's definitely a bummer because I have made so many positive changes in my life this year, and this was the healthiest I have ever been before this shit started happening. I have lost 85 lbs so far this year, yet I was lifting more weight now at 205 lbs than I did when I was 265 lbs at 14% body fat, and my lifting technique is light years better than what I was doing years ago. Hopefully we can find out why my liver is failing me and try to fix it so I can get back to being healthy and a complete fucking animal at the gym.

Did you ever begin using NAC and Liv.52 as previously recommended?

Are you still taking SARMs?

Yes, I'm taking some powdered NAC that I bought online. Each teaspoon gives me 2700 mg of pure NAC. I am also taking the Himalaya LiverCare which is what Liv.52 is called now in the US...outside the US it is still called Liv.52. It is the exact same formula. Finally, I am still taking the Cardarine GW-501516 everyday, about 20 mgs daily. I am not aware of the SARM causing any liver issues, not to mention that my liver problems started happening before I took the SARM.

I think that I'm going to be taking the Himalaya LiverCare formula on a regular basis. Luckily, because of where I work, I get a pretty insane employee discount so it won't be that expensive for me to have it on a regular basis. I have always known about how good the formula is but I was surprised when I saw this video about it. It kind of makes me wonder if this might explain why I stopped not only putting on muscle but started slowly losing muscle? If my liver has been fucked, then the 230 - 240 grams of protein a day I'm consuming isn't getting to my muscles. This might be a question that 3J would be able to answer since he is the nutritional guru here...although my calorie intake is low (2200-2300 calories everyday), it shouldn't be so low that I would be losing muscle so maybe my fucked up liver is partially responsible.

I would drop the GW until you get your liver issues figured out.

Maybe look into some TUDCA as well. I have not used it personally but many speak highly of it. I think Mr Supps (a sponsor here) may carry it. Try contacting their Rep if you want to look into it more.

Ok, I'll drop the GW until I figure out my liver issue. As far as the TUDCA, I'll give it a shot.

OK, I've got my liver under control and things seem good so it is back on. I am starting the Barbell Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, will be doing a typical CrossFit WOD on Monday, and do some regular lifting on Fridays. Depending on how I feel, I may also jog 4 to 8 miles on Saturday. I will be creating a caloric deficit and I will be posting my macros on a daily basis. As for supplements, I will be taking the following:

3.000 mg of NAC (1 heaping teaspoon)
9,300 mg of L-Carnitine (1 tablespoon)
1000mg (4 capsules)a day of TUDCA
8 capsules a day of LiverCare (otherwise known as Liv.52)
9,600 mg (12 softgels) a day of CLA
3 tablets of Nature's Plus Source of Life Gold whole food multi-vitamin
2 capsules of Emerald Labs Whole food CoEnzymated B Complex
2 capsules of MRM Liver X liver support formula
2 capsules of Hellfire Ephedra fat burner (taken 6-8 hours apart from each other)

I will be taking some Whey Isolate protein first thing in the morning, giving me 39 grams of protein, and taking some Casein Protein before going to bed, giving me 35 grams of protein. I will be consuming 4 meals throughout the day as well, so I'll be consuming either a shake, snack, or meal 6 times a day spaced out every 3 hours.

As for the prohormones, I will be taking EPG Ostagenin and IronMagLabs E-Control RX 2.0 on a daily basis. This will give me 100mg of Laxogenin and 25mg of Ostarine (Ostagenin) and 75mg of Arimistane (E-Control RX 2.0). I am also back to taking 20 mg of Cardarine GW-501516 in the morning with my Whey Isolate protein shake, NAC, and L-Carnitine.

Let the fat destruction commence...

Are you going to keep doing your crossfit training while in ketosis?

Monday is the only day I will do my CrossFit training. Otherwise, I will be lifting on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday will be jogging only. I am low carb but I'm not in ketosis.

Less than 100g of carbs per day is technically considered to be Ketogenic I believe.

Hard to perform at a high level with that diet in the types of activities you are choosing. Make sure you stick to low reps and very heavy. Especially since you are not using AAS. You may want to reconsider aligning your diet/training/goals.

Well, I do consume less than 100g of carbs per day but using the ketone sticks, they tell me that I am negative...I am not in a Ketogenic state. As far as performing at a high level...I am not a top CrossFit athlete, I just do what I can. With the Barbell Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we do stick to low reps and heavy weight so I'm good there. Fridays are open gym at my CrossFit so I just do a different workout, like chest workouts but not CrossFit WODs. My diet is only for the purpose to get down to 15% bodyfat...I am going to use AAS in January and I cannot be fat. I will do whatever it takes to get to the right bodyfat percentage.

Today's workout was a nice easy jog. I ran 4.03 miles in 40:07 minutes at an average pace of 9:58 minutes per mile. Here are my macros for the day:

Protein - 199.4 grams
Fats - 77.1 grams
Carbs - 44.2 grams
Net Carbs - 29.7 grams
Sugar - 12.4 grams
Calories - 1672.9 calories

Regardless of what the Keto Sticks say, you are running a Ketogenic Diet. You should adjust your training to match your diet and personal goals.

I have...the weight training along with the prohormones are for weight loss not weight gain. I am creating a caloric deficit so that I can lose as much fat as I can to prepare myself for January. My BRM alone is 1997 calories a day so with the calorie deficit and the workouts, I should be able to keep decreasing my bodyfat down to 15% so that I can get ready for my first AAS cycle.

Today I had to work late and couldn't make it to my CrossFit box in time so all I could do is go jogging. So...I ran 4.02 miles in 42:39 at a pace of 10:36 minutes per mile. Here are my macros for the day:

Protein - 211.2 grams
Fats - 98.0 grams
Carbs - 42.4 grams
Net Carbs - 28.9 grams
Sugar - 11.3 grams
Calories - 1887.8 calories

Today was my first day of the Barbell Club at my CrossFit box and it was awesome to get my hands on the barbell!! We started off with some Power Cleans so I warmed up with a set of 8 reps at 75 lbs, then 8 reps at 95 lbs. We had to do 8 sets of 3 reps at 70% of our 1 rep max so I put on 115 lbs and cranked out all 8 sets. Next up, we had to do 3 sets of 8 reps of back squats at 65% of our 1 rep max so I put on 160 lbs and cranked out all 3 sets. After the back squats, I had to do 5 sets of 10 steps of barbell lunges at 95 lbs. I put on the weight and cranked out all 5 sets. Finally, we had to do GHD situps and so I did 5 sets of 20 reps.

To celebrate me getting my ass back to lifting weights, I treated myself to a chili that one of my coworkers grew. Gentlemen...I present to you the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T chili, one of the hottest chilies on Earth. Right now I have a humongous smile on my face while my stomach is doing death turns...this is without a doubt the fucking hottest thing I have ever eaten in my life!!! Here are my macros for the day:

Protein - 212.7 grams
Fats - 99.2 grams
Carbs - 42.6 grams
Net Carbs - 29.0 grams
Sugar - 11.4 grams
Calories - 1904.4 calories

So this is exactly what I was talking about. You are doing high-rep weight lifting while on a Ketogenic Diet -- you seem to be averaging fewer than 30 grams of net carbs per day. Your diet and training program are mismatched. And you are not using AAS. You can do whatever you think is going to work best for you but I would be interested in understanding your logic behind this apparent mismatch.

Just out of curiosity, how long were rest periods between sets?

Yeah man, Mega's bang on. High rep/intensity workouts + low carb + caloric deficit = recipe for muscle loss.

Give up crossfit before you injure yourself badly and do some REAL weight training :)
