when ever i curl heavy weight my forearms hurt like shin splints but in my forearms. is there a wrap or something to resolve this, cuz its killing my work outs.

I would try Icyhot or something of the sort and a very hard massage I was having pains in one of mine that were pretty bad quite a few weeks back I just youtubed some forearm stretches and massages and did them with the application of icyhot and it worked after a few days. If this doesnt work youll either have to deal with it or lay off for a while until the strain is gone. Hope this works.

sounds like tennis elbow... lateral humeral epicondyle over use... from forceful gripping and over strain.... iv been dealing with it for 4 months... sucks ass...

ice the crap out of it... daily

Forearm splints.....In all honesty the only way to get rid of the fast is to take time off. However that is out of the question for most people. I used NSAIDS preworkout for a week and iced after lifting and avoided things that irritated them for a week and then worked back into those exercises lightly. I've had several bouts with them. It sucks and I feel your pain. This advice came from a licensed physical therapist. Every time I get into REAL heavy presses and curls I start to develop splints.

I too am dealing with the same issue, just had a cortisone shot and so far so good. I have had massage, ice, & p/t in the past 2 months before I saw a dr. It does suck, no doubt about it.

Do you have pain on all bicep exercises?

What about pre exhaust on machines or or cables so you can go lighter on dumbells?

I've had actual tennis elbow from.......playing tennis. This doesn't even compare in pain scale or location....if we are talking about the same thing. It doesn't hurt until you put the weight down...then its super intense?

I have tendonitis (ulnar if I remember correctly what the doc said) and that sounds a lot like what I experience.
So far just doing anti-immflamatories although I did find active release therapy helps a lot.
My doc wants me to se a neurologist to check for nerve impingement and a pyhsio for some relief. If that doesn't work he is saying surgery to release it, but no way am I going under the knife. I'd rather suffer with it.

no only on concetration curls with a bar which unfortunately feel amazing on my bi's but kill me fore arm's. but dumbell are gtg

All you have to do is warm up very well the fist joint by rotating a dumbbell for 1-3 minutes.

tried that still no dice brother. I talked with a trainer whoe is pretty massive and he said i just need to work out my fore arms more. there the week link in my arm and there being over strained with the weight i can curl.

i use to have the same problem years ago on the same type workout also. it hurt
like hell just to open my hands and turn lose the bar after a set. i just worked threw it
and changed up my workout for a while and slowly went back to the concentration curls. and it slowly quit.

i'll just have to back up alot then cuz i could do sets with 45's on each side but even 25's hurt like hell maybe i'll try 10's next bi day

Figure out what DOESNT hurt and use those exclusively for two weeks...then work the others back in slowly....thats what worked for me...plus the ice and NSAIDS...let us know how it works out.
