From an Old Bastard to all

Recently some labs came back less then acceptable. My testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) guy told me "come OFF right now: ALL THE WAY!!

Those are strong words from a guy making his way on selling me "TRT".

A cycle isn't everything, even of you're an IFBB Pro your health comes first. Let's at least hope so!!!

I am doing much better on my blood work taking a full panel E11D now. I'll be able to run a nice summer cycle. No more 19's/bloodmakers for me. Plenty can be done on Test levels of a 22 year old guy.

So if you guys ever think or rethink about coming OFF for a reason of health, just do it! I am off, lost a little water but feel great and know my values are good and getting better.

Tomorrow is another day :-)

Hey mike happy u got off ur health is more important there is always another day to cycle but u have one life. Glad ur on this board brother u have been very valueable with ur knowledge on this site.

Thanks man. Just trying to share my game and maybe save another guy from some shit.

Aww no more 19s. Well you wanna be healthy. Tren is nasty shit.

Tren, Bold and Nan are off the table unless my #'s take some dramatic turn for the better. At my age my Primary, my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and other Veterans and myself included doubt I am some miracle guy.

Just keeping it real.

I can carry 230lbs lean weight on 285mgs Test. 230lbs on my skinny frame is pop'n.

I'll stack some Primo and Var this summer and take some pics.

What values were out of range brother?

Hemo
Hema
Bun
RBC's were kicking my kidneys hard!

GFR was scary.

I donated blood that day, stopped my NPP/TPP cycle and cut my protein intake to 100g (was 300).

Also taking low dose aspirin at bedtime.

Taking bloods again tomorrow but staying OFF until at May 1st.

haha, Zeek practically had a stroke himself when you gave us your numbers :D Glad things are better brother.

While no further discussion is required because I feel Mike presented a compelling case, I do always wonder why in the heck guys in their 40s like me, and Mike for that matter, even contemplate the idea of running a cycle?

At our age, we have to consider the risk-to-return on that gamble and as far as I can tell, the prospect of 40 year old guys running cycles violates the risk principles of

1) Don't risk a lot for a little and
2) Don't risk more than you can afford to lose.

just out of curiosity, how old were you during your last cycle? Do you consider a test blast while on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) a cycle?

Last cycle was 17 years ago when I competed in the Nationals - I was 24 years old.

Yes a blast on HRT is cycling.

that's incredible man. I've been following your restart and a lot of your posts. Lots of knowledge right here fellas! You have a great build, and I'm that much more impressed by the fact you've kept it with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) levels and diet! Impressive sir!

I get regular labs myself. When RBC's and Hematocrit is high I give blood. If my liver is stressed I jump off orals. Had to do both recently. But I still run 500mg T per week. I will get labs again next month and see where I'm at.

This is a good point. This is coming from a guy who hates on younger people for juicing and that they should do they're "natty time" first. So what, 20-25 years of natty time and then cycle when your older and have more health risks? Explain that to me mike.
