Goin to the doc..

BuddyBoy

Got any Ice Cream?
Hey folks

Im gonna go to the doc on Wed. for a physical, and bloodwork and stuff.

Its hard to go to the doc when you are young, and look healthy, becuase like.. they automaticlaly look at you like nothing is wrong.

What do I ask the doc to check for specifically? Like, what kinda questions should I ask?

Im all natty for now, and I wanted to get checked before I ran my first cycle.

Can they check the hormone levels and thyroid levels with the normal blood test?

I have Kaiser, and I just got mine done a few weeks ago. I just called the doc up and told him I wanted to get blood work done. I told him I wanted to check for:
Test
Liver Values
Kidney
thyroid
Sugar

If he asks why you want these tests, just tell him that you were taking some OTC supplements and want to make sure that it is not messing up your system.

BuddyBoy -

Here is the list that SWALE posted over on SBI - Hope it helps.

Following is a list of the labs I draw prior to beginning treatment:

Total Testosterone
Bioavailable Testosterone (sometimes called “Free and Loosely Bound”)
DHT
Estradiol (specify by the Extraction Method)
LH
FSH
Prolactin
Cortisol
TSH
CBC
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
Lipid Panel
PSA (if over 40)
IGF-1 (if HGH therapy is desired)

At the one month point, I follow-up with these assays:
Total Testosterone
Bioavailable Testosterone
Estradiol (specify by the Extraction Method)
DHT (if patient is using a transdermal delivery system)
CBC
Lipid Panel
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
(if ALT/AST from above are elevated, then get a GGT)

I hope this helps!

Do not tell him you plan on using!!!
If you have insurance and this gets to them then you are screwed good by low insurance like they are going to keep an AS user/ when they screw the smokers....think about it!

Dam how many of you tell yoru doctor?
I think if you feel you need to then go to a different area than where you live and pay cash to see him! Then your regular doc and insurance will not find out!

My 2 cc's
