Heating gear

Hate asking so many questions, hate hijacking threads. Oh well...

Anyway...

What's the best methods of heating up my prop and mast? I don't have many options, so hopefully you guys can come up with some creative ones.

I had a HARD time drawing out Test E with 25g, I'm only assuming prop and mast will be two times thicker, and even more so to push out.

I've never heated anything... draw everything with an 18, inject with 22's, 25's

microwave for a minute, makes it so smooth.

microwave a vial with a metal crimped top?? hahahaha are u serious... u gotta smoking some serious crack bro.... besides the obvious safety issue of it, microwaving gear is most likely not the best way to keep the compound intact...

Great, I was 4 minutes to late getting to that post, and had fired up my microwave...oh wait, I don't have one.
Woo

Get a cup of warm water and put the vial in the water, dont submerge the vial. I normally dont heat it up but it makes drawing much easier.

The microwave DOES work and I've done it more than a few times. 30 seconds is plenty and it's hot when done, but the top isn't an issue... No crack today so far.

Works with crashed gear too.

I run it under hot water. You shouldn't draw with a 25ga unless your syringe body is a thin 1cc or less. Draw large, swap needles.

Since you're not using your large needle to inject, would it be okay to use the same one for drawing for a few days?

Friends of mine do, but I never would. Needles are cheap, and the risk of infection is real.

I leave a 18g pin in my vials. I draw then screw on my new pin or I backload my slin pin.

I don't heat vials. And I inject thru a 29g slin pin, all the time. You can run the pin under hot water but don't let needle go in water. Or sit vials in sink and let hot water run, set vials in bowl of hot/almost boiling water, hair dryer, etc.

For crashed gear, I put a pin thru top(not touching oil) and bake at 325 for 20 minutes, or pin in top and set in pan on stove top, heat at 2-3, then heat and swirl until in solution.

I use a cup and fill it a little, but do not submerge the vial. I usually inject after my shower so I let it sit in the cup during my shower. Very smooth.

Cheap yes, easy for me to get no.

I do like the "leaving the pin in the vial" idea providing it's a sanitary

I'm just in all the wrong places to be doing gear haha.

Luckily for me, I have a portable water heater.

dont listen to that microwave bullshit. Thats probably the stupidest thing ive ever heard in my life. First of all, the heat and radiation from the micro wave, causes the rubber covering the vial, to release toxic chemicals, which are compounds within the rubbers molecular structure. This is also why your advised NOT to microwave stuff wrapped in plastic. Just put the plug in your sink, fill it with hot water so its level with the amount of fluid in your vial, wait 3-5 min, extract, then inject as soon as possible. Goes from syrup to water without cancer

intresting sugestions! I take it your out in the field by your comments? If you are use your body temp to warm it! Holding or rolling in hands works well!
