Help Me Understand The Use Of An AI & PCT

I see several threads where the use of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during cycle is suggested followed by a post cycle therapy (pct) with Nolva or Clomid. What is the purpose and difference between the two.

I thought that an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) prevented conversion so I'm confused why to use Nolva or Clomid if you are already using an AI?

An Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will kill estro levels.

Nolva will block estro to your tits. But shouldn't be run during cycle, only post cycle therapy (pct).

Nolva and Clomid will help restore your natural test levels after cycle. Some people like one some people like the other, it comes down to the sides they can handle.

See that's where I get confused. If an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) kills all your estro levels, why then do you add an additional estro block to your tits?

You don't
So are you saying that you can run an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during a cycle and also for post cycle therapy (pct) without adding anything additional? In other words, I can run Aromasin during cycle and also continue its use for post cycle therapy (pct)?

I would taper the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to a stop in the first week of post cycle therapy (pct).

Nolva and Clomid are used to get your natural TEST levels back up in PCT.

When you are on gear, your nuts shrink and stop working properly. How do you plan to wake them up once your cycle is done?

AI's are used during cycle to control estro levels.. they actually get rid of it.. nolvadex and clomid are ran pct to restore nutsack.. dont run nolva during cyle bcuz it lowers IGF-1..

An aromastine inhibitor(AI) blocks the enzyme which converts test in estrogen. So your nipping it in the bud so to speak by not allowing the estrogen to build up.

CLOMID & NOLVADEX are Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators(SERM's) work by sitting in the estrogen receptors in breast cells. If a SERM is in the estrogen receptor, there is no room for estrogen and it can't attach to the cell. If estrogen isn't attached to a breast cell, the cell doesn't receive estrogen's signals to grow and multiply in the cas of male gyno.
In PCT serm's resart HPTA.
The Aromatase inhibitor (AI) keeps estro incheck which helps with unwanted sides are a quicker road back HTPA.

So if I understand you correctly... you are saying that an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) although it lowers total estrogen, does not completely block it, whereas a SERM will completely block the estrogen, but only to the tits?

Yea....research my man

Yea....research my man
Absolutely... I'm reading and soaking up everything that my little brain can handle. I do however have a long ways to go. You, Ythrasin, Stone and several others have been very, very helpful. It is greatly appreciated!

hey bro glad I can be some help...but im in the same boat as you(new to this)I find it very interesting subject and has become my hobby. The computer is a great resource for research and the vets like YTHASHIN,STONE,DTONE & SHAPand many more are smart guys that I learn from ed.

Like GI joe said Knowing is have the battle...lol

I guess I'm still having trouble understanding how blocking estro to the tits, helps the testicles anymore than reducing total estro?

Nolva/clomid just do not block estro to your Tits bro...

Novla and Clomid also stimulate LH production.

Thats why you use a SERM during post cycle therapy (pct)...
Not to block estrogen but force/kickstart your body's own Test production.

LH then tells your Testes to produce Testosterone.

Do people run Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during post cycle therapy (pct)?

Yes... I actually recommend you run a small dose of Aromasin in post cycle therapy (pct) also.
Aromasin will also help stimulate LH production...

AI's dont block estrogen at all. AI's prevent estrogen from being made. SERMS block some estrogen..not all. They block estrogen from attaching to some receptor sites... one of them being breast tissue. SERMS can actually sometimes increase total estro levels...
