High metabolism versus cycles

Guy at gym, young 30's has a good workout routine for bulk. Low reps, high weight. But he is 5-10 maybe 160#, benching 275 5-8 reps. Ive seen this guy at golden corral, he eats a lot. Also he has told me what he has experimented with. Doing a lot of dbol tablets, 90mg day 16 week cycles. I told him to stop due to kidney damage. He has used the same deca I have used. I don't think he is diseased, he puts up good weight. I was just curious if there was something out there other than your usual d's and e's that would promote weight gain. Or is his metabolism just too high?

Looks like we got the old "my friend" situation here ;)

But your "friend" is just stupid, no matter the metabolism he will fuck him self up with that much dbol for that long time. Just eat way more.

One of my good friends has really fast metabolism, I agree he probably needs a bit more gear and he needs to eat a whole lot more also than me. So there is definitely something to this.

Do you feel like winny helps you combating fat?
I just get hurts around the elbows and stuff on winny personally. Don't feel much fatloss effect to be honest.

I have a hyperactive thyroid (>1.5 normal range) and I can gain weight without gear... if you can't IMO you shouldn't even consider gear.

im similar circumstance. I eat lots of calories and also take gear and its hard to put on weight. ive slowly been gaining over the years and have gotten leaner so im primarily putting on quality muscle...but people are amazed at the food I eat and remain really lean

ur right telling him 90mg's of dbol alone is not smart, but it will have no effect on the kidney whatsoever... could result in liver damage, but not on one cycle, would take a lot more abuse than that to cause and permanent problems

he's not gaining weight because he's not eating enough, plain and simple... u don't see him 24/7, if u did I would highly doubt he's getting in enough food throughout the entire day

I really don't buy into the "my metabolism is too high to gain weight bullshit"... that's just an excuse to get out of eating more and training harder

Unless it's a legitimate medical issue diagnosed by a doctor, no it's not a "metabolism issue."
It's called under-eating.

Ive seen this guy at golden corral, he eats a lot

Unless you follow him around all day and watch what he does at home, you really don't know how much he eats.
Studies have shown time & time again that small people chronically over-report calories just as obese people chronically under-report calories, sometimes even off by amounts exceeding 2,000/day.

all of these guys saying it's not possible probably have a slower metabolism. what reason do I have to come on here and lie? id be willing to bet im more dedicated to bodybuilding than you, so do you really think I barely eat and then come on here saying I eat a lot of calories every day? I was always really thin as a child. I still have a thin waist and thin joints. I can eat 2000 calories in pizza, some mcdonalds, chicken, rice, etc throughout the day and the weight comes on slow. that's just how it is for me. I do absolutely no cardio and still have ripped abs and vascularity pretty much everywhere. you believe that everyones body the same and we are all going to put on weight if we follow the same calorie intake each day?

What they're saying is you match your energy intake to your energy needs very well, whether to realize it or not or whether you track calories or not. Yes metabolism can play a part in the energy balance equation but it really boils down to you eating enough to suit your goals. No one is calling you a liar but whether you go to McDonald's or grill some chicken means nothing since the name of the foods you eat don't dictate your results. I too eat McDonalds and other fast food, once I realized how I can eat what I want while fitting it into my nutritional needs, and my body composition and strength have not suffered at all.

I try to eat clean, but I'm the same way. I'm 6'2"and I was only 130 pounds until I was like 19. Note,I can eat whatever I want and remain lean. I try not to eat Crap, but my girl and I sometimes pig the Fuck it on ice cream sandwiches and I stay shredded even if I'm away from the gym for 2-3 months. Shit,I would bet that if I stopped for 6 months I would still look shredded

2000 calories in day is not gonna put much weight on anybody
