I normally squat semi-wide...wider than shoulder width but not all out wide. Today I went to do my normal 5x5, and at parallel and below I was having some extreme pain in my hips.
It was intolerable. I brought in my stance to shoulder width, and it was still there, but bearable.
Is this just weak hip flexors?
