If it's DOM's, soak in a bathtub filled with epsom salts. When I started doing cardio twice a day, my legs and feet would hurt something fierce; the soak helps quite a bit and helps you to fall asleep - which as 3J mentioned, is paramount to recovery.

I've been out of the gym for almost a year but want to get back into it. I am suffering from sore muscles where they lock my arms in polace to the point where I cant move them. My girlfriend massages them but its no help, what other remedies can I try?
