For medicinal purposes- that is for anemia patients, anywhere from 1-5mg/kg of oxymetholone per kg of bodyweight is recommended, with 1-2mg/kg being recommended in general. That is, you need at LEAST 1-2mg/kg of bodyweight to experience the muscle building/weight gaining effect. Read a package insert, it will say what I just wrote.
So- let's suppose you weigh 100kg(222 lbs)- 100mg should do the job. In fact, 75-100 mg should be seen as the minimum dose for gains, 50mg a day for tapering. 6 tabs a day=300mg. Unless you are Greg Kovacs, this is a ridiculous dose. 3 tabs is excessive- I've done it, the marginal problems (gyno, edema) outweighted the marginal benefits.
Once again- 75-100mg a day, taken for up to 2 months, ought to do the job and not kill you liver.
Package inserts recommend the 1-2mg/kg dose be continued for AT LEAST 3 months before benefits are gained!
I have no axe to grind. I've used oxy plenty, and get it on script and take what I say from experience and the package inserts.
Popular heresay is '50mg a day'- a useless dose for mass, in my opinion. I have read of oxy being used successfully for cutting, perhaps at 50mg a day it keeps muscle on you.
