I found out what the pros use! Well, one of them at least...

Who is this mysterious "PRO" from russia that you saw. The only guy that comes to mind that fits that description is Alexander Federov and i sure know he's not here in the U.S. right now.

1.) so i doubt he was a pro
2.) do you believe everything everyone tells you (Cause if so i have an amazing deal for you)

This dude was easily big enough to be pro. I forget his Russian name but he said his American name is Dan Carrigan. I looked up that name on the net but can't find anything about it so I'm guessing he competes under his Russian name?

Just because someone is easily big enough to be a "PRO", DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE A PRO.

I'm pretty sure he took you as a sucker.

bro if you think 280 is big go to a big time PLing meet. hell go to a nfl game. at 280ish he's got 2 weight divsions above him in PLing. I got 30+ pounds on him as do many on this board.

Take a look at all the top amature national competators who dont make pro year after year. If you saw one of these guys in public you'd probably swear they were an ifbb pro. So my question is this, did he say he was a pro or do you assume he was?

He told me he was pro. If I see him again I'll see if I can find out some more info like his Russian name, where he competes, what he competed in, etc...

For christ's sake he doesn't even write that shit.

I don't even know if he's literate.

hahahaha lol lol the only way to find out these things is to train near these guys or get in their circle and that's not easy.

So I was in the gym yesterday and there was this mountain of a man. This dude was HUMONGOUS!! He's 6'2", 280 @6%. He said he's usually around 310 @ 6% but he was in a bad car wreck and hasn't been able to work out.

But I started talking to him about diet, training, gear, etc. He's one of the few that will actually admit to it. He told me he likes to run 1200mg of Enanthate w/ 50mgs of dbol a day. He's from Russia. Now I dont know if he runs all of his cycles like that or what but he told me that.

Then we were talking about training and he said he very rarely goes heavy, and he never really has gone heavy. He says on most exercises he'll do about 20 reps. I've heard this before about these mass monsters doing light weight for a lot of reps. How do they grow off of this??
higher reps hit "fast-twitch" muscle fibers which WILL make you grow... i do it as well ....

Ronnie Coleman alternates high weight with low, if you read his training tips assuming those are legitimate tips taken from his own workout he usually starts with 10 reps then pyramids down to 6 reps, for biceps anyway and thats a kick ass routine too, hes not all that big at 280 but if he was at 6%, well I doubt he was at 6, maybe a little higher but assuming he was 280 and had a low enough bodyfat he could easily be a pro, shit the famous Dorian Yates used to train in the gym I formerly trained in, he was there every often, there are so many pros now its not even a big deal meeting one.

Uh, there isn't a man in the world that is 310 lbs. at 6%. Sorry, but this guy is full of shit.
Gunther gets close, and they are the same height.

"higher reps hit "fast-twitch" muscle fibers which WILL make you grow... i do it as well ...."

i thought higher reps hit your oxidative fibers, which are not mass fibers at all. In Biomechanics i was told that glycolictic fibers (fast twitch) was only used for around 10 seconds and that you actually dont even have to breath for them to give 100% since they only burn glycogen. IM gona have to dig out my notes on this one since i cant remember the exact #.

So this "pro" lied about his stats... Well I am just shocked, no bodybuilder has ever done that.

:/

Seriously though, they are all full of shit to some extent. Lee Priest makes jokes about "magazine weight" in his training videos. I mean how many of you have seen Arnold's stats where they say he is 6'2". He isn't even 6 foot with the huge lifts he wears in his shoes. Anyone ever see the Rock in person... The WWE seems to think he is like 7 foot or something, however he seems to be the same height as my old girlfriend who met him. She was 5'9.

Like I said before everyone of these fucken guys lie when they say this is my cycle, they will never tell you unless you are a very close friend or trainer partner for years. My own cousin doesnt tell me shit and he is going for pro soon.

As for training I feel I have 2 methods that work good for me.

1 option I do below:

1st set---light with slow higher reps 16-20.
2nd set---medium with slow controlled reps 13-16
3rd set----heavy not too controlled 6-8 reps
4th set (optional)---super heavy not too controlled spotted 3-4 reps

This works great fr me atleast....gives me 2 controlled slow movements with emphasis on form, and the last 2 sets are generally heavy with more rest in between and lower reps and more explosive.

First off Dan Carrigan isn't a pro, but he is an NPC competitor and took 2nd as a Super Heavyweight in the 1999 Southern States. Ronnie Coleman is also very literate....he graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Grambling in 1986. Ronnie didn't compete in powerlifting for 13 years before he ever did his first show, his first show ever was the 1990 Mr. Texas and from 1983-1986 he played Middle Linebacker for Grambling.

Pullingbig you said "bro if you think 280 is big go to a big time PLing meet. hell go to a nfl game. at 280ish he's got 2 weight divsions above him in PLing. I got 30+ pounds on him as do many on this board."

Sorry man but this is bodybuilding and your logic is pretty ridiculous. Weight doesn't mean a whole lot when it's crap weight. So you weigh 310 along with a bunch of NFL lineman and competitive powerlifters......well Ronnie on stage is anywehere from 265-280 and if you stood next to him even 45lbs heavier you would get owned hardcore, theres a big difference between quality muscle and a bunch of intercellular water and a high bodyfat %. I've seen Carrigan in person and unless you or anyone else on this board can come close to winning an NPC show he would dwarf you as well.

Thanks for sharing Vennom!!

On the new Ronnie video, big Ron squats 800lbs to parallel for 2 and leg presses 2300lbs for a set. Thats why hes so big and muscular. Super heavy weights and super large doses of anabolics to facilitate the lifts. I think this guy is not being totally real with you bro.

I saw him lifting before I talked to him and wondered what the hell he was doing b/c he was doing upright rows w/ 65lbs and barbell curls w/ about the same weight w/ many reps, I didn't count them.
