Only issue MIGHT be that you are only taking 1 day between chest and tris/shoulders, since each group is involved in working the others. Depends on how fast you recover, really.

Change setup, u can try this.
mon: Legs/Calves
Tue: Chest/Abs
Wed: Back/Traps
Thur: Shoulders/Triceps
Fri: Biceps/Abs
Sat: OFF
Sun: OFF

What are you doing for youre Trceps now? How many sets and how many reps?

try chest shoulders and tris on the same day. you may be overtraining tris.

yup, i switched to that and my shoulders and tris blew up. my shoulders actually grew so quick i had to quit training them so everything else could catch up.

that might be to much for me in one day

well what you doin aint working. so how do you know this wont work?

these borads are frusrtating at times. people ask for advise then tell you your suggestions will not work.

I am not directing this at kupa but making a general statement. you got a 158 lb guy telling a 300lber that the 300lbers routine wont work for him.

and before you guys post questions please read a bit first. i have seen the same question asked 4 or 5 times this week about cardio. most of the answers are already here.

no disrespect meant towards anybody just making an observation.

some of the boards i frequent will boot you out for some of the laziness/ignorance that goes on here. ignorance is nothing more than lack of knowledge. do some studying and reading on your own and dont take someone's word for everything. you will better appreciate the knowledge you have because you worked for it. then you can share your experince and not your opinion about a topic.

once again this is not a slam but an observation.

you guys stay healthy and train smart.

i had tiny tiny arms too :( :( being 6'3" and 310 with tiny arms was no fun lol i looked like a goomba.. but anyways, before my injuries... i pushed a lot more on bench, and put a lot of growth on my triceps by doing 3 things... 1. dips!!!! it was hard, but i eventually got to where i could do more than one without falling over :) 2. seated dips.. like put your palms on one bench, and your feet on the other and lower yourself down, and go back up :) put some plates on your lap when that gets too light. and thirdly... close grip bench <-- IMO best tricep workout you can do. but dont over do it, i only did 2 sets of each :)

just my 2 cents :)

I was just told that because of how sore I got from my last leg workout, that I should re-evalutate my routine because I am obviously doing too much volume....Funny as my whole quad routine is only 6 sets, which is very little considering the size of my quads

As for tris, my arms do not like to grow, only way I can get anything from them is train them on their own day, just bis and tris

I get that all the time. "If you're that sore, you gotta be overdoing it!" I call BS on these people - I've NEVER had someone that actually lifts tell me this.

Yeah, those 3 are the best, IMO too. I don't really do bench (seated) dips too much anymore, b/c it eventually got to be too much trouble to stack and remove those 5 45's from my thighs every set. Had to add that much weight, and I was still doing sets of 12, lol.

Those 3 will make you blow up faster than anything else though.
