I need to build legs after op. Can I localise steroid effects and what is best?

Hello. After a succession of operations on my knees I am at the point in rehab where I can really press on and I am wanting to give my legs a good kick start to build some muscle and stablise the joints.

I am training best as I can, mainly to maintain rather than grow at the minute as I am in decent shape and happy with upper body, but need legs to catch up to avoid the Jhonny Bravo shape. I am therefor looking to mainly localise effects to the legs.

Can this be done effectively and what is best to take for this? I used Deca Sus Dianabol some years back with good effect but this gave me all over gains. Will GH work as Id like?

I am 33, 6ft, 13st (182lbs)

Any help is appreciated

you can not localize with steroids. just move your training focus on to your legs and they will respond very well. stick to power movements (squats, press, good mornings, stiff legs, etc.). just be careful with your injury.

not sure i would attempt squats after knee surgery. Stick to machines such as leg extensions as well as try some lunges and weighted step-ups to a platform. Be careful not to re-injure the knee.

A76 what I recommend and it will be invaluable for you is to read this book. Its hand down the best ou there to get back on track after knee problems or surgery. As for steroids sorry they can not locally heal anything. They work through the whole body and are not magic. HGH might be a better choice to look into but its not going to heal you over night. Here is the link to the book.

Like grafix said....go easy. Try doing squats with the excercise ball behind you as you squat down , with no weight at first.

The only thing I heard close to localized growth is Lr3-Igf-1 , but we won't go there. Just good ole fashioned hard work will get you there bro!!

touche, i agree. i forgot about his injuries for that sentence, go light like these guys have said.

Thanks fella, Ive had a look at the book you suggested & its spot on. Suppose Im just after some magic remedy, Im on op number 10 so Im sick of constant rehab. Always trained hard, was pro sports so its frustrating. Right fuck it Im off to the gym. Thanks.

I'd go real easy. I had an anckle reconstructed and it took 10 years to recover from be cause I pushed it to quickly after surgery.

MGF will give you localized growth.

I would also avoid juice use for a bit, because tendons and connective tissues can take considerable time to heal. Juice use will strengthen muscles quickly, putting additional strain on those areas around the knees still healing.
