If the pro BBs quit AS all together...

it is a compliment rednecks dont lift weights they lift vehicles and farm equipment:D

that is true country boys working hard, always needing fuel for the body cause ur working hard all the time so ur body will constantly need to be fuel'd

it is without question genetics. pro bbers are the easy gainers who stuck with it and used aas. the majority of ppl that stick with bbing are actually hard gainers, maybe cause easy gainers lose interest quicker? they dont see it challenging enough? thats my thoughts, but the pros are the easy gainers that did stick with it. u can go pro without having quite as good of genetics as cutler, u just gotta work a little bit harder/smarter. but only slightly less genetics than him. if ur genetics are way behind then its just no chance.

Post cycle recovery? LOL! I seriously doubt that people who have been on for as long as he has will ever fully recover no matter what they do. But in response to your question, I think that if AS were eliminated from bodybuilding, everyone would be 40-50 lbs lighter, and there would no longer be any white guys in the top 10.

Hilarious!! But true

bros , maybe its just the deep south but where i come from the big boys come in white or black , on my mothers side of the family ive got 13 male cousins and at anywhere from 250-300 im about 3rd smallest , redneck farm boys lol , i saw one of my cousins pull a 289 motor out of a mustang by hand and no i dont bullshit about feats of strength just look at my other post , we all grew up hauling hay , splitting wood and doing general hard work and we are all blessed/cursed with big appetites , i get tickled when i read about taking eq to help with appetite or guys complaining about not being able to eat enough , i can honestly say that if i didnt care about getting any bigger than i am i could take in 8000-10000 calories a day without force feeding myself , some of you bros who cant gain weight may hate me , but i dont like you either :D

I grew up on a farm in south Ms and yes all the farm kids were way stronger than that city boys who worked out and we ate EVERYTHING.

As far as genetics go and gear I have a friend who is sponsored by a big name supplement co.(he is black) and another who was a very big competitor from New Zealand(white) . The guy who is sponsored uses Less gear than the Newbies running around here and the friend from N.Z. (who doesnt compete anymore) stays around 265-270 with a very low bf. percentage. His body has adjust to being that size so it is somewhat easier to maintain that size. Has anyone seen Kevin Levrone lately? He looks like a normal guy but no amount of juice in the world would make you look like him when he was at his prime.

so dose any one have any more info on what a pro builder would look like if they just quit aas all together? what about someone thats not pro and has just been taking them for while and gained considerable mass?

Anyone know what Arnold ran?

as long as there have been steroid message boards that questions been asked and there have been hundreds of answers , just pick the one you want to believe lol.

also as info , ive stood beside arnold a few years ago and hes not anywhere near as tall as they say.

Not like that dude would talk about it either

That's because they were already on AAS when they were 19.

I was big at 19 but started AAS when I was 18, most thought I had good genetics little did they know I was injecting test. (eating alot, and lifting hard too)

Then at 24 I stopped working out and turned into a fat fuck (260lbs) wonder what happen to those great genetics.

Ronnie Coleman won his procard as a natural . Just sayin' buddy . Do your research :D

I think people are obsessing over the question " How do the IFBB Pros do it!? " , when in reality it is all genetics. It is all genetics !

Wheres Trey Brewer now ?
The list goes on and on from all the huge amateur names 5yrs ago that just didnt have 'it' to be an IFBB Pro .

Ronnie Coleman got his IFBB Pro Card as a N A T U R A L . He got 4th place in the Nationals just behind Kevin Levrone & Flex Wheeler(dont quote me on that one). In those days of the NPC, they would drug test the athletes who placed. The ones who passed the drug test would be sent to the IFBB World Amateur Championships, or the Mr Universe. IDK Where the ones who failed would go. At that competition Ronnie won his pro card .

Lee Priest at 15yrs old had a physique a lot of AAS board members would want & he didnt his first AAS until a few years later .

Take it or leave it fellas, but these guys have genetics that no one can touch .

If you mean GH, I agree, I think that's what gives them such large hands and heads and what not.

And I don't think there would be any white guys ever NEAR the top ten if there where no gear in BBing PH9. All you need to do to know this is see a large group of young white and black men....a large portion of those black guys will be better developed (w/o serious training or gear) than most young white males after years of serious training and some cycling. Plus they just look better anyway, I think this is true of many the pros too, just think of dexter, flex, sergio, etc... Then think of some of the best white guys, dorian, jay, etc... I don't think they look anywhere near as good asthetically (but granted they're almost all getting pretty freaky by that stage).

BTW I hope no one takes offense to this, and this is not meant in any way to take away from any of the hard work and dedication of those black guys or any on this board. I just think that genetically they are much better suited to BBing and tend to have a better "look".

I hope that doesn't discourage any white newbies with competitive aspirations though, it just my 2 cents. I think bbing is just about improving yourself and doing the best with what your mom and dad gave ya.
Your not by chance related to Jimmy the Greek are you? :jump:

i am from north florida a very southern small town ,most black males here are genetically low bf but not all but a good % have low bf but these farm boys around here are just beast ,I should know i am one of them 6'3'' 320lb,its kinda funny my father was a farmboy but only 5'6'' 180lb my mother was 5'8' 130lb so i dont know where i got my size my uncle is the only other one in my family on both sided that compares to my size

I know I'm going to catch slack for this one but I don't think genetics on getting big have anything to do with race. I know Blacks, Italians, Greeks, Irishmen, Polishmen, Puerto Ricans, and people of various cultures that are all huge or huge and cut. I also know people of all of these races that couldn't gain a pound of muscle if they tried. To me Genetics is more family based than it is race based. All these claims that all these groups of young black men standing next to young white men are naturally more muscular or cut are asinine. I've also noted that most of these claims are made by white men on this board. My question is where are you seeing these blackmen that you're making these assumptions about? In the Gym? LOL. In order to make this comparison I challenge any of you to travel into any neighborhood in your city with an almost all black population and still make the same assumptions after your observations there. You will see that the various body shapes, body types and conditioning levels reflect the same that you would find in a predominately white neighborhood. Also most black people I know age much better than there counterparts in other races. I am often shocked and suprised when some of my black friends and coworkers tell me how old they actually are. So do we know the true age of these "young" blackmen that we are making these observations about? I bring this up because the young blackman that you are assuming is 20 years old might really be 29 with 8 years of serious training and dieting under his belt and add to that muscle maturity, compared to the 18 year old white kid next to him that started casually lifting weights two years ago. Being a successful bodybuilder has nothing to do with your race but everything to do with your genetics passed down by your family members, your natural bodytype and frame and your dedication to training and nutrition.

alright I have talked about this alot with my black brothers and I figured even though its an old post I might as well tell you my opinion.

genetics are huge when it comes to size, strength, leaness etc. black people do have a better genetic pool to draw from physically, well at least african-american do. the reason is slavery, if u take all the people who are 6' and over and breed them u will end up with a generation that is naturally taller than average. this has been proven in tests and it doesn't take long to develop. this is why if u ask about ur chimes growth they will always look at how the parents are. this is truly a blessing in disguise for many races in many different ways. when slaves were picked they were picked for there size strength etc.

the other half of the eqation is simply work. how hard you work to become whatever u want plays a big role in it. your naty gifts only get u so far. so if ur a farmer who has been lifting hay and equipment for years u are going to be strong. this is why u see some small guys with incredible strength.

now granted there are always exceptions to the rule. some people will have growth deficiencies that allow them to get to tall or fat whatever it may be. and there will always be the family that carries the traits of certain things like size or whatever simply because that's the way there gentics are. so race really has nothing to do with any of it any more. its simply look at ur parents and there parents and u will find some similarities. unless ur one of the phenomenal few. so this isn't a racisit subject its merely science.

What is the friday fest?

im prospering to this suiting someone to a t factor called a friday fest with my cocker tonight and idk what it is,there like stands and building blocks, but if u certain, plz pull the plug on me so i can deceive a good constantly!!! lol
-THANKS!! :)

black genetics are crazy sometimes for building muscle.

there was a group of guys i used to workout with at the gym at my office and this one guy whos huge and i can tell obviously cycles was the biggest of us all (White dude). one of the guys is black and i just saw him yesterday and hes just as big as the other guy thats been cycling for years... and he caught up to him within a few months and im pretty sure hes natty. he was slightly bigger than me like 5 months ago.... i went on a cycle and gained like 20lbs... he was gaining just as fast as me and since im off cycle now hes still growing. i was floored by the amount he gained in the last month... the other guys didn't notice it like i did cause they see him everyday and its been a month since i last seen all of them.

Most if not all of the strongest biggest guys have been white. All the old time strongmen, modern strongmen, olympic lifters, powerlifters. From what i see it is all dominated by white guys. Dark skin does make you look bigger though. That is why bodybuilders tan themselves so dark. Also, 3 or 4 generations of selective breeding could not have any measurable impact on size or strength.

On the other hand blacks can run slightly faster and jump a little bit higher then whites, on average of course.

I think you have that backwards. Bill Kazmaier had nearly the same lean body mass as Ronnie Coleman without ever taking steroids. Georg Hackenschmidt was nearly as big as Arnold before steroids even existed.
