insulin resisitence with HGH

I have been doing 3 IU of Jintropin along with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) therapy and feel 20 again!

My question is many people are warning of developing insulin resisance from the HGH. I have no desire to use insulin as i am not a pro or competitive bodybuilfer.

1. Are there any physical signs of developing insulin resistance.
2. Is it really necessary for a non-pro to use insulin while in HGH.

thanks

1. Yes. After 2 weeks or so of starting GH therapy, some people start to feel hypoglycemic. Shaky, dizzy, etc. This is a good sign that you are subject to insulin resistance. This is a feedback defense mechanism when the body senses an imbalence in the endocrine system.

2. No. I posted last week here, in response to a similar question, that Avandia or the like might help some who experience this but do not wish to use insulin.
Not everyone notices this effect, anyway. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) doses may not cause any insulin related problems. I'm assuming that you have insufficient natural GH production, since you are on an Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) program.
I get hypo on high GH doses. Modest insulin use does overcome this......although I sure see the logic in johnny's reply.
Most of us who use insulin do so for reasons beyond the GH issue you raised. Insulin, used correctly, with steroids and rhGH can make a remarkable difference. But it's not for everybody.
