Is it bad to squat and dead lift in the same week?

My split looks like this:

Sunday - OFF
Monday - Chest/Tri's
Tuesday - Back/Abs/Cardio
Wed - OFF
Thursday - Bi's/Abs/Cardio
Friday - Shoulders/Traps
Saturday - Legs

My question is I squat on saturday and deadlift on Tuesday. Is that overworking my back? IF SO, I was going to squat one weak and deadlift the next, AND change my split like this:

Sunday - OFF
Monday - Chest/Tri's
Tuesday - Back/Abs/Cardio
Wed - OFF
Thursday - Legs
Friday - Shoulders/Traps
Saturday - Bi's/Abs/Cardio

Ive been squatin and deadliftin every week now for a little while and it's finally catching up to me. Im gonna still squat every week but deadlift every other. You can also start doin variations that take a little stress off the lower back. Ex. are box squats, rack pulls block pulls. Also I found out this week doing hyperextions will help get your arch better for deads and squats.

Just keep your recovery in check, because your nervous system and lower back get enough to do this way.

i was thinking of that. but figured that might take too much out of me. if i did squat/dead on monday, then i would train twice a week and just do my chest/shoulders/tris on friday. but id rather have a day fully devoted to squats and one to deads/rows. i train for muscle and strength, not just one.
