Itchy nut sack

Hi folks,
I am relatively new here and have researched many posts but have not come across any relating to my problem. I am 6 weeks into my first cycle and have developed a moderate nut sack itch, yes im being serious. I don't think it is a bug infestation or anything and it started about 2 weeks into cycle. Is there a connection? Or should I go see the DR.
