Lab Results after 1 month on TRT....Advice?

The other post got cluttered up with BS so I am going to make a new one.

Beginning Total test was 248
1 Week later no treatment was 250
1 Month Later (taken 6 days after 3rd and 15 minutes after 4th shot) after 100mg once a week was 318 TT Estradiol was 10.7 on Range from 7.63 to 42.63
Vitamin D was normal

Doctor now has said to up to 75mg 2x a week and check back in 2 months.

Is all of this looking "normal" so far? Anything you guys would change? I feel like he has me moving a very slow pace. But I don't want to mess anything up for the labs in 2 months.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
 
150mg/week is a decent dose. Should get you somewhere around 800 depending on how big you are and how much you aromatize. What Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dose are you on to go along with this? And any HCG?
 
Doctor has not mentioned anything about an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or HCG....again no plan on having kids but I understand it does more than that. I forgot to ask him (only got to talk to the nurse practitioner on the phone) about Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and HCG. From my understanding most Doctors will not prescribe these??

Willing to take advice from you guys on what to do from here. I am very tempted to jump to 100mg 2x a week as my new Vial is 200mg/Ml (last was 100mg/ML) as it would make the dosing easier and it seems to be the most common dose on the boards.

How did my Estradiol look? It looks low normal to me....anything inside of normal okay with this?

If you take more than your prescribed dose you will run out before you can get a refill from the pharmacy

Many docs will prescribe an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). How do you think we are getting them? At 75mg/2x per week you very well may need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). This is getting you into the range where lots of guys start aromatizing too much. I would discuss it with your doc so you are ready yo get it should your E2 creep up.

You E2 is very low -- too low. It your TT is very low as well. Increasing your TT should bring up your E2. Most guys like being in the 20's or 30's. I'm guess at 10 that you are not feeling very good right now.
 
Megatron has you handled, but I'd like to add that while it's PAINFUL to have them take their time, it is in your best interests to stick with what he has outlined for you for the time being. Definitely inquire about AI's and HCG as while some docs are up to date, many are woefully behind and will not prescribe them. The easiest way to bring it to his attention is to make sure estradiol is included on every panel. Bonus points for yours already having that as part of your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) panels, mine thought total test was all that was needed at first. ;)
 
My doc was only going to do Total as well....Thank you Megatron haha. As he asked I did vitamin D and Estradiol as well. The only one I am missing is prolactin. But may get this done next time.

I will call my Doctors office on Monday and see what he says about the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and HCG. I see Aromatase inhibitor (AI) is all over the place including Hercules lab. I am very scared and cautious about ordering UL though. But I will do what I have to do to get back to healthy levels.

About the not feeling good....not really now for almost 5 to 6 years (thought it was normal and due to stress with business)... I have some ups here and there but most of the time feel as if everything is working against me. After hearing I only went up 70 points today was a little hard to hear as well. I will listen to both the Doctor and you guys and stick to the 75 on Sunday and Wednesday.

Another question...Doc wanted to know whats pins to order. I have been going glute and told him to go with 25g 1 1/2". Is that the norm?

Also my wife (nursing school) said I should order some 18g for drawing the meds. Is is still safe to order from *******.com? and are all pinz and syringes interchangeable? That is all for now. Thank you.

We can't discuss non-script purchasing of ancillaries in this section, but if you posed that same question about AI's in the AAS section for instance, I'm sure you'll get the answer you seek VERY quickly. ;)

You have to keep in mind that it's going to take some time even once you get your hormone levels all dialed in before you really start to feel awesome again. I know it took me a good year before I felt "normal" once again. Now I'm at about 95% of where I think I should be after four years, but that's because low testosterone causes so much damage to your body, it can be quite the task chasing down everything that needs attention. Granted, I spent nearly a decade with low-T - which is why it has taken me so long compared to others.

You need to learn how to inject in your quads and deltoids as well. Site rotation is key to preventing scar tissue (docs won't tell you that), which would require 25g 1" for injecting and your wife is totally right in that an 18g 1"/1.5" is great for drawing. You can typically get these by script and filled at any pharmacy. If your doc isn't writing you scripts for sharps, that would be another question for the AAS section (which ironically has the same answer) for a means of purchasing them.
 
Ooops...my bad. I see it blocked it out for me. Didn't know. My bad.

Doc did write me script for the 30 25g 1 1/2" for like 6.50 cent. I will also ask on Monday if he will throw in a script for the 18g. I am very low body fat at 6'0 170lbs...would the 1" work for both my glute and my shoulders. I don't know if he will write me another scipt for another 30 1" needles.

Does the delt hurt more or less than the glute?
 
When did you need a script for needles? I go to Walgreen's and a box of 100 is $14.00. Doesn't matter the size. I mostly use the 25G-1 1/2,but I do use the 25G-1 inch. If you have a script with a pharmacy they will sell you a box of 100 anytime. Just a though brother.

Yes, a 1" needle can most certainly work for glutes as well if you're lean enough. Delts are honestly really pain-free and quite easy once you get the hang of it.

Depends on your state. I live in a state where it is up to the pharmacy if they want to sell you needles or not. I've been turned down by a pharmacy even though they were filling my testosterone script!
 
That is funny...I just picked up my 30 25g 1 1/2" and asked if I could get 30 18g...she said I would need an additional script. I am guessing at 6 dollars for 30 I am not going to find a much better deal unless I buy in bulk and I really don't want/need 100 needles laying around.
 
I have my pharmacy order boxes of 100 for me. Much cheaper that way. If you have a script they shouldn't complain about that quantity when you tell them you want to do it to save money and for the convenience.

Yes, just post in the AAS section with that question please. I can't answer those here as it is disrespectful to the sponsor of the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) section as they operate a doctor prescribed service. I like to keep IMT happy as they're good peeps. :)
 
Okay no problem...I will probably call Todd again anyway...he gave me a lot of great advice and was a very nice guy. Would do business with them in a heartbeat.
 
Don't take the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) until your next blood work to verify that you even need it. With your low levels you might not.
Second if your bloods were taken 6 days after injection, doesn't that mean it could have half lifed so the bloods came back lower then what we think?

It's a very strong possibility for those of us that read this forum's AAS section. Then again, some of us started here in the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) section and meandered over to the AAS section haha.
 
I think you are a right about me not starting the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) until I know I need it....(after blood work)

Guys....is my Estrogen level dangerously low? I am reading around and seeing that single digits can be detrimental to your health. Starting to wonder if that is why I feel like a stiff statue all day and can't even bend over to tie my shoes.
