Low T as per online blood test - UK

I got an online blood test from Pharmacy2U.co.uk. They sent me a vial with a lancet and I collected a vial full of blood and sent it back to them.
They've come back with the following result: 6.2 nmol/l which, according to this calculator: https://nebido.com/tools/index.php/en/default/index/conversion-tool is 1.79 ng/ml or 179 ng/dl

I'm not very education on TRT but this sounds pretty damned low right?

I assume my next step is to present this to my doctor and get an NHS test and go from there? Do the NHS even prescribe TRT?

BTW, I also got a cholesterol test done at the same time and that has come back as high with high LDL - can this be related?

Yes, see your doctor and get additional blood work done. You can read the Basic TRT Overview sticky thread in this forum. That will give you a better understanding of what to expect.

High cholesterol is probably not causing your Low T.

They do prescribe TRT in the UK, but the doctors and protocols there are not often the best.

Keep us posted on how it is going and what you learn. We can help guide you through the process.
