what up everyone i need peoples advice im 6'2 and 195 lbs and i need some advice on increasing the size of my arms, and shoulders to be proportional to the rest of my body.

the bad news........being 6'2", it will be harder to put on mass you see on others shorter than you, it will take some time.

good news......when and if you acquire that mass, on a tall frame, its a beautiful dominant silhouette.

stick to the same principles as others....core lifts, eat eat eat!

i myself am 6'3", and i believe Mudge is your heighth....just keep at it brother, progresses slowly, but when its there, youll like what you see.

is there any advice on things to eat. I eat every hour and a half and a post work out gainer shake thats like 1600 calories, and then again before i go to bed

well, im not big on diets.....when i bulk, i eat wendy's a lot, and try to consume 8-10,000 cals a day....but im 270 lbs. better ask the diet guru's :)

Yep, I'm 6'2" and have worked up to 268 before dieting down (I was 16.1% bodyfat) and I still want more more more. The bane of the tall man is you need a lot more weight to show it like said above, but once you fill out (you know, when you are 350 and ripped :laugh4: ) you will look like a walking slaughterhouse.

When I bulked I was 5300-6500 calories a day, my metabo is not fast at all but 8k is madness :D Scale up your calories so you dont want to puke all the time, 1k calories to start is nice if you are cycling. Anything more drastic than that can make you want to quit your diet/bulk, unless you can eat like a madman naturally.

hahaha! well, honestly i dont count too closely....just eat constant triple cheeseburgers, and pints of guiness....and no i do not endorse that bulking diet to the masses....but it works for me :)

4 double cheeseburgers (Burger King) and a large chocolate shake are something around 2800, 540 for each double burger :) man those were good.

makin my mouth water brother....never was a burger king fan....always went for Wendys myself....but in reality, its all garbage lol calorie infested garbage! love that shit

There wasn't a Wendy's near me when I lived in that area, right now I have

Wendy's
Carl's Jr (great also)
BK
Taco Bell
Jack in the Box (low class burgers, 99 cent jumbo jacks though I could do a few of, I think 5 is the most I've had)

I'm pretty happy with those choices. When I want a "$10" burger there is a place called Taxi's that makes the beeeeest damn burger I've ever had, kind of a 50s style place, great shakes too. Then for pizza of course, there are two great chicago style places here.

he must have been eating like a maniac. tell him congrats SL

yah ive seen some big bastards, its liek the earlier comment goes "when and if you acquire that mass, on a tall frame, its a beautiful dominant silhouette"

my buddy is only 6'4" 240he dwarfs me everywhere we go

more important than calories is the protein intake for adding mass. at 195 if you looking to bulk you need 400g pro/d. a wendys triple is about 75g pro. 40g pro is 1600 cal BTW.

squats, deads (or a variation of) and heavy back work are the keys to adding mass.

have fun.

400g protein is 1600 calories, yep. Protein calories can be excreted though, but thats part of the magic of not getting 'fat' on high protein/low carb/moderate fat diets.

Just dont go too crazy on carbs unless you are some kind of genetic freak, insulin resistance will follow, and you'll chub up like me.

You could look into supplementing with vanadyl sulfate as a mild, legal glucose disposal agent with your carb meals.

so whats a good mass builder you guys do for your tri-ceps, ive found dips and skull crushers and the good old french press to finnish it off

reverse grip benching will pound your triceps . they are hard to explain so try a search here first there have been several conversations about them in the past . then if you have any questions ask them here and i will try to clarify .
i switched to reverse grip benches several years ago when i blew out my ahoulders , for some reason my shoulders didnt hurt when benching reverse grip . within months my triceps were growing like weeds .
