I went for another Dr visit for my neck problem and they gave me the best unit available to keep!
I have not read how to use but its one that plugs in the wall.
I wonder if this would help muscle stimulation as well?

I just checked the homepage its not a muscle stimulator (they have them) but more directed for pain relief.

Damn! I was gonna sit in front of TV or computer and attach to bi's and tri's and eat some twinkes all day and get huge, lol!

I still cannot find the cost!

I have the RS-Vi model.

I got a whole book and video to read on it here is a pic.

any Dr's know what a unit like this would cost?

Back in HS, my friend had a lower back injury, his doc gave him one for therapy to borrow. Wed grab a 60lb DB ( alot for us at 150lbs) attach it to our bis, and turn it on and off. The contractions were intense, but we sure as hell flung that 60lber up, back then, we were lucky if we could curl 30s.

I can't tell by the pic if your is a TENS machine or an EMS machine. It seems to be the latter.

A TENS machine (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is simply designed to block pain (by blocking substance P). It will NOT exercise the muscle. It can be run off a 9 volt battery.

An EMS machine is a whole different ball game. Although it STILL can't force your muscle to grow (like those ridiculous infomercials) it is one of the modalities of choice for treating sports injuries (along with therapeutic Ultrasound and Russian stim).

It (as in its title) "stimulates" muscles. It forces muscular contractions via mini charges of electricity. A battery WON'T work here! It can either fatigue a muscle by tetanization or rehab it by pulsating contractions.

DG: your seems to look like one of these EMS machines!

Price?

Anywhere from $ 740-$2,000!!!!

thanks Dr good info's I turned up to 59 and was feeling like a seziure it goes up to 100 I tried to put to 100 and was contracting so bad I thought I was gonna drop it.

It is a nice unit I think it is relaxing charge in wall and can walk around or lay down and watch TV.

I may put on my g/f's nipples, I bet it will stimulate em!
