On my 8th week of Test C. Been mostly pinning my quads and butt but decided to switch it up and shoot 1.5 cc's into my left bicep. The injection actually hurt which was strange because before have. I massaged the area after to make sure the oil dispersed. My bicep started to swell up and become sensitive that Monday night. It is now Friday morning and still swollen red and pretty sensitive to the touch. im really thinking about goin to a walkin clinic and asking for them to get me some amoxicillin

i am in a bind right now. does anyone know how much thats costs? i just recently quit my job and dont have health insurance right now and dont really want to ask my parents if i am still on theres. any options?

If the actual injection site isnt red and swollen and looking like shit I would just hold off and see if it goes away. Its pretty obvious if something looks like its getting infected.

Has it gotten better with time, or worse? Are you running a fever? I'm with T on this one. If anything, I would err on the side of caution and get it checked out. But it is possible that you either injected very close to, or through a nerve. Meaning, the discomfort that you feel may be a result of something other than infection. But why screw with it?

why is it everyone thinks because it hurts and is swollen they have an infection.
just so everyone knows SOME GEAR WILL HURT YOU. ITS BITES. this is easier in some locations then others
unless you have track marks run a fever or have puss coming out of the site relax.

dude you will know if it is infected-the redness will double in size over and over-you will get sweaty and have lfu-like symptoms. and the pain will simply be unbearable, not sore it will be very achy.

if you want to treat yourself get some antibiotics, fish-flex (keflex) is a fish antibiotic. you can get it online for 25 bucks. you need 1250-1500mg ED for 7-10 days. without cultures being taken this is exactly what the doctor will give you.

your other option is to go to an urgent care clinic. check online you can usually find one that will see you for 50 bucks. then there is usually a store in the area offering free antibiotics with a script. in my area it is meijer.

the nice thing about the clinic is the may prescribe you vicodin for the pain.
