Um im not sure what could have caused this, and goin to the doc isnt an option right now since i dont got any coverage. . .

I had to shit really bad today and held it for like 8hrs. When i finally went, i looked in the toiled and the water was completly bright red. I shit out a ton of blood. WTF could be going on?

I work in an emergency department, not as a doctor. I cannot give you advice. I have seen a few GI bleeds. I will start by saying someone with bright red blood from the rectum should probably go in. Any true GI bleed I have taken care of had some co morbidity like Chronic Hep or some other liver dysfunction. The remaining group of healthy people usually had an internal hemorrhoid or external that experienced some trauma like a large turd. Bleeding can occur from tearing of the lining of your GI tract and that may need Med attention. A worse case is a perforated bowl and that would be terrible. If some one were to develop fever or chills call 911 they are now worried about an infection as well as bleeding.

Bright red blood leads me to think lower GI. Dark coffee grounds that smells like rotting steak is probably upper GI.

Early signs of internal bleeding Increased heart rate >100
A 20% decrease in your Blood pressure from lying to standing position.
Feeling dizzy or weak from lying to standing position

Later sign decreased hematocrit
Pale skin color.

My Public hospital works on a sliding scale for patients. The less money you have the less you will pay. Try and find a public hospital in your area that has an emergency department just in case, know how to get there. Tell the triage nurse that you are worried about a GI bleed so you are seen right away.

I dunno if this will help the diagnosis, but it happens to me every once in a while. Hasnt happened for like 6 months tho. It happens sometimes for a week or two then disappears for months or even a year. What you think?

Im not on ANYTHING, iv been off for almost 7 weeks now. I WAS on halo for 2 weeks (20mg), Winstrol (winny) orals for 4(75mg), nolva, arimidex, aldactone, diazide, and proviron at the end of my cycle.

Ive got a very good idea of whats wrong. I spent most of last year going to 3 different doctors, two were specialists. About once every month or two, I would shit and have bright blood. I also would usually feel a little tired around this time. After lots of tests, and what FUN tests they were, (NOT), it was determined to be simple hemorroids. Every so often my diet/stress/strain would cause the internal hemmoroid to fill with blood. When the feces would pass this blood baloon it would rupture it causing the bleed. Surgury fixed it up, but the doc said it really wasnt necessary if I just wanted to live with it and use creams to shrink the swelling. My friend, I think what you have is a case of Monkey Butt, nothing more. IMO

Quit guessing brother. Yes, chances are that the etiology is a low risk one (probably just good old hemorrhoids) but read these and you'll see WHY you need to get checked out!! It'll be very important to rule out other sign es Very important significant causes/problems.

Its probably a "fissure"...the term for slight lower bowel tearing. Heavy squats can do it, as well as holding your hard, impacted, chunky poopy stool. No worries if its a fissure, they heal themselves Bro.
