i have little to none pec development after over a year of training.. they dont really stick out at all (xcept the left side lol)

i have tried watching my form... but i still think something is wrong ...

shold i look into using machines for a while to test that shit out (dont hate pullin :( )

help me out brothas

My pecs are larger on the outside than the center, thats genetic luck (or lack of).

I do benches and 1-2 sets of cable Xover, nothing else.

I had some pretty decent pecs but they didn't really become very noticeable until I lost some fat and got down to my current 10% BF. Also, I added some really heavy low rep chest work and it worked great. Try doing some work in the 4-6 rep range with longer rests. Then keep moving the weight up 5 lbs on the last set each week. By the end of the month you could be up 20lbs on bench.

lol .. if i lose any fat .. i might aswell pack up and move to ethiopia lol

o, pullinbig has set me straight with the heavy lifting and low rep range... i am stronger in bench .. just dont seem to have a good chest .. maybe when i gain weight it will get bigger ?

yep yep .. im getting good protein now that i started drinking milk again, and eating tuna

I have the same issue in regards to my chest. I have been working out for a long time with little to no development. Granted the majority of my time working out I was a) not taking in appropriate Protein and b) over training.

However, my point is that recently I changed my routine up. I normally do flat bench 3x10, then incline smith 3x10, then cable crossovers 3x10. This is a generalization. I actually change my reps and sets and change out my cross overs for different "finalization" sets.

The recent change i made was going from flat bench to flat dumbell's. OMFG! Now i admit i have lost some weight (still not as low BF as back when i was in better shape) but my chest has grown an unbelievable amount. I actually began to shave my chest because, though it isnt huge, it looks unreal to me in comparison to what it has been in the past.

I am going to start some variations of my current workout (Incline smith 5x5, flat dumbell 5x5, decline smith 5x5) that remove the smith and use dumbells instead. dunno about anyone else but I have found a new love in dumbells.

i think you will make better progress that route

i never feel like i got a good workout from using the smith machine (besides close grip bench for tris)

I actually feel like I get a pretty good work out from smith's. The main reason I use the smith is because I am flying solo alot and it is the only way to go without a spotter. I have a new workout partner and he seems to be pretty faithful so I am hoping to step away from the smith. I only use it for incline/decline, military, and squats. I may try it for Tri's because I tend to hurt my elbow with skull crushers, thinking it is form.
