The ironic thing is my wife is very pleased with my attitude, my libido, my work in progress body and everything else that comes along with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), however, she views the injecting as "it must be steroids"! So, I have explained the differences, which I'll omit here so she can see what the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) world has to say, and although not upset..she continues to be very leary of what I'm doing. I know she'll read this because I think she peaks over my shoulder sometimes.... Anyway, all help much appreciated.

I would also like to add that you would probably rather not have to take shots at all, but the shots don't kill the liver like pills do. It is much more effective.

Also point out that there are a ton of Dr's smoking crack giving scripts/injections without a clue as to what they are giving(medication, dosing, time interval). Hormones are no joke, you need them to live. I went with Chip for this very reason, he knows his stuff when it comes to HRT, bar none. I'm the newb, but it is making a world of difference already. If she wants to talk with myself, or my wife, I'll PM you my cell #, just let me know. I'd be more than happy to talk with you or her.

FYI most people on cycles run HUGE doses, like 1000mg.

You guys are awesome! the support you lend to each other and the lengths you will go to take care of each other always impresses me!

To the op, you just have to educate her to the fact that you have a legit medical need for this. She is just worried about you in the end but testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) under a professionals care will extend your life, not shorten it and the quality of life is so much better!

Then I asked her if she wanted a divorce. I explained how much better I feel since starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and how it affects a multitude of other processes besides my dick.

Then I told her when we get HER hormones levels plumbed up she can thank my doc later.

She is heavy for her height and would probably feel more like doing something about it if her levels were better. She went on bio identical hormones several years ago, but got off for one reason or another(dont remember now why)

Anyway, 100-200 mg test/week isnt going to exploded my liver, heart, or anything else. However, I know what it will do because its already doing it, and I WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

lol. not even joking!!! Sometimes it like pulling teeth to get her to hold still to get it on!!
A lot of times its easier and less headache to just handle things myself.

Not the best scenario, but not worth throwing away 24 years of history for, IMO

I just showed her my blood tests. I am still well within the normal range. Just make sure you test right before you are due for a shot or they could be high.

As for having a wife thats not so interested in the bedroom. Talk to her, calmly, then get her the book, Men are from mars, women are from Venus. It actually does a pretty good job explaining "our" side of things in a way they understand. I though it would be a girly book about why men are wrong and just a bunch of horny pigs. No, not at all. It's actually on our side!!
