Purpose of HCG in HRT?

What is the purpose of using HCG as part of HRT?


I know that guys on cycle use it to prevent complete shutdown, thus making recovery easier. However, guys on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) don't have to worry about recovery.

I also know that it prevents your balls from shrinking, and I think it helps you blow bigger loads as well. Both of those things are fine and dandy, but I assume there's a better reason to use it as part of HRT.

Does it prevent infertility? If so, how effective is it? I saw the thread about MoparMuscle knocking up his wife after a year of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), but other than that I haven't heard much about HCG as a means to maintain fertility.

Furthermore, if the main reason for running it as part of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is to preserve fertility, then why do some guys run it when they have no intentions of having kids?

If you run a google search yes it's used to increase fertility (higher dose), at a lower dose it can be used to maintain fertility.

It keeps your nuts making test. Without it you would need a higher dose of test to reach a specific level in your system. For example (bare in mind these aren't real numbers); let's say you take 200mg cyp ew to maintain a level of 800 total test. By taking Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), your body continues making test and you only need 150mg cyp ew to maintain the same 800 test level. I think.

Are your balls really something you don't mind wasting away to almost nothing? Once something is too far gone for too long I'm sure there is at least a chance of it never coming back to normal size. Lets not even touch on it possibly never returning to function at least partially also.

You need your balls for more than just making kids and producing testosterone. How about sex? your balls and sperm releasing are what gives you that orgasm feeling.

I know you guys have had sessions where you did it so many times in a short span of time that the final orgasm was like a blank? a drop or two and barely any feeling. that would be your fate with totally shrunken nuts.

I might be an old pervert but the day I can't feel an orgasm anymore is the day you can lay me down 8 feet deep, I will be ready to cash in my chips at that point.

My doc gave me HCG only after saying I wanted kids while on Test. Though he said stop the Test and use huge amounts (1000iu EoD) of hcg.

I the truth is I find the scrotal tightness uncomfortable and my ejaculate volume decreased while on test so I use HCG for that not fertility.

Clomid will do the trick also during long cycles or for people on long term TRT. HCG being the better tool though

HCG wasn't always as easy as it is now to come by. 50mg clomid eod for a few weeks will restore the balls size as well as sperm volume

i would take either 250IU ED or 500IU ED. its been proven that 250IU - 500IU is enough and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) docs in the know say to that those doses doses taken ED is better than large doses spaced out.

I find most docs to have giant egos and are arrogant and closed minded. most docs I've had that I've gone to when i bring up something that i think i may have and I'm wrong they do there best to put me in my place and make me feel as stupid as possible. that's why when i got my physical so i can get meds thru Max Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) i lied about why i was getting it.

Another purpose is HCG stimulates the enzymes that convert cholesterol to pregnenolone which otherwise get downregulated.
