Quick question... maybe??

Ok,

I just got my trough levels back and my Dr approved me to increase my weekly T dosage. Here is my question.

At 100mg 1 time a week, Peak level 48 after shot was 941 Trough level just before shot was 554. Which makes sence cause the last 3-4 days always sucked.

The Dr has approved me to go up to 100mg 2 times a week. Now heres my question, average out my body is using approximately 77.4 per day.

941-554= 387
387/5(days) 77.4 (5 days because 7 days between shots but peak was taken 48hrs after injection)

Which means if I take 2 50mg shots per week, I won't increase my dosage at all, but my trough should only be around 708. (theoretically)

Does it work that way. At 50mg 2 days a week, will my peak remain the same as 100 1 day a week? Or will it be lower

I don't want to take 100mg two times a week "just because I can" I want to take the lowest reasonable dose I can with good to great results.

I can take "up to 100mg" 2 times a week. Opinions. Also I am slight estrogen sensitive, so thats another reason to keep the dosages lower if possible.

My next shot is due tonight, so any quick input would be great.

Thanks
C

Quick answer... It doesn't work that way.

^^ This.

However, i would recommend that you split up your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose twice per wk to maintain stable bloods rather than the spike you recorded. This will also allow you to manage your E2 a lot easier.

Thanks. Could you recommend that since I'm splitting my dose into 2 times a week should I keep it at 50mg per dose or shoud I increase my doesage to 60mg or 80mg with regards to the levels my peak and trough are at? Unfortunately Drs around here seem to throw darts and hope they stick.

At 100mg 1 time per week I seem to feel best around days 2 3 and 4. I'm just trying to get a little guidance.

Thanks

I would keep it 50mg and give it some time to see how you feel. See if you notice your levels becoming more even. If you increase the dose to say 60 now and things feel off you won't know if the higher dose is causing it or the frequency change or something else. I like to change just one variable at a time if possible so you can isolate that as the cause and effect. Give a month and check your levels again. You can make adjustments at that time. Be patient. :-)

Keep in mind that you should "lose" less test to aromatization this way which will increase your TT and Free T. But your peak will be lower and your trough higher -- smaller range.

As Halfwit would say, that my 2¢.
