responsibility by signiture

Hello all, I'm new to the game. I need some advice I recently made a online purchase from a web site that claimed no signitures were required upon delivery. when I got home there was a slip on the door saying my package was at the post office because no one was available to sign. Here is the deal would it be ok to sign or would that be accepting responsibility of its contents. I contacted the site and they said there is nothing to worry about, I'll see if I can attach the response from them.

people post about this dilemma all the time. it comes down to two choices:
1. go sign for the package and get your products.
2. suck it up as a loss.

most end up going to sign for it.

They're about your only options...

I'm assuming your order was international by looking at the format of the tracking number. If it was sent EMS from another country, then a signature is required. If it got through customs, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks guys, I'll send the wife tomorrow to pick it up. I'll probably end up posting some pics to see if it's good
