Do the obvious and go get checked out.
Then decide from there.
I always stay on and work around my injury; I wouldn't come off if it's a minor injury.
its common problem, i think its it to do with the shoulder muscle becoming too large or too strained ehich then causes stress on the smaller interoir muscles if that makes sense. it has happend to me and i gave myself a break for a week and felt fine after
Could be your rotator cuff or ac joint.
When I say work around your injury, you are doing exactly that.
Give it rest, and go from there with light weights.
And don't stop training and let other body parts fall behind.

Look in the mirror... if your chest pulls your shoulders down, its means you favor the chest and front delts more.
Leave any bench and military press alone. Favor the following for a little while.
Rear delt flys
Up right rows (wide grip)
Side delt raise.
Not only will you feel more balanced. A good rear delt gives you a more broad look. Women love it too.
so how am i supposed to train chest ? lol
priorities homie.... I dont bench any more.
i have to agree at this point.
train around the upper body, do abs and legs. if at any point you lift your arm out front or above the head and it hurts like hell its a rip in the rotator. get it looked at and rest it.
i had this happen myself
i cant not train chest any longer then a week its my favourite part... i can live without doin shoulders but chest man cmon this sucks lol......so if u dont bench wat do u do for ur chest exercises?
tell me what it feels like when you raise your arm straight above your head.
when i had mine ripped it felt like a screw driver was stabbed into my shoulder and was prying the shoulder apart.
i had to leave mine alone for a month but it came back. i had to have sugery. it got bad for me and i couldn't even lift a coffee cup
