I hear ya man...I want to improve mine a good bit too...
Something that Leanbody on here showed me that I really like, to hit them from a different angle, is lying on your stomach on an incline bench so that your arms hang, and shrugging DBs in that position...it feels really weird at first but I can feel a whole different part of the trap being recruited.
I'll have to give that a try. I really need to focus more on them. I usually hit them towards the end of my workouts when Im already pretty tired. I need to move them to my first few lifts and go balls to the wall on them.
