Snake's First Cycle

I hear ya man...I want to improve mine a good bit too...

Something that Leanbody on here showed me that I really like, to hit them from a different angle, is lying on your stomach on an incline bench so that your arms hang, and shrugging DBs in that position...it feels really weird at first but I can feel a whole different part of the trap being recruited.

I'll have to give that a try. I really need to focus more on them. I usually hit them towards the end of my workouts when Im already pretty tired. I need to move them to my first few lifts and go balls to the wall on them.
 
Day 25

So not much new to report. I didnt work out yesterday and didnt go this morning either. I plan on going tonight...cant decide if ill do shoulders or legs. Ill also try to get another update on my weight.

I did want to throw an update in on my gyno fears. The lump never seemed to go away and never really got worse. yesterday I forgot my dbol at home and didnt take any and the swelling in the lump has significantly decreased. It's definitely still there but maybe half the size as it was the day before. So I think thats a good sign that when Im done with the dbol it will subside. I did kind of notice that in the mornings the lump seemed smaller and as the day went on it would swell up more. Must be some kind of reaction to the dbol. Since i forgot yesterday i have enough left to do 50mg for the next four days so thats what Im going to do to finish it off.

Yeah I've done traps first on shoulder days a few times and they are always much more sore because I was able to put a lot more into them.

Day 26

I didnt go to the gym again this morning but I did go last night and plan on going tonight. Im having trouble sleeping so I sleep in as late as possible before going to work. My workout last night was pretty good. My gym is a giant clusterfuck at night so I make it a point to get in and out. My weight is still floating around 245 which is a little disappointing but I feel look leaner and my strength is still going up so hopefully there is some recomping going on. Im also going to just start eating more. Ive been trying to keep it fairly clean but it might be time to kick it up.

How'd you like that shrug variation? It definitely feels weird at first.

it's a little awkward at first. my brain is telling me to try and row the weight (which might also be a good lift to try) but I know i should just try to squeeze my traps together. Once you figure it out you can definitely feel it though.

I have done it once before while I was on a prohormone...I got it a lot cleaner today though...I really hope the test keeps boosting it up. Id love to rep it 2-3 times.
 
Day 30

No gym today because I have league basketball tonight. I noticed yesterday that Im starting to get more acne on my shoulders and back. its nothing bad yet but its definitely more than normal. it doesnt help that I shave my entire upper body.

I think all this week Im going to try and max out on my big lifts (bench, squat, barbell row, shoulder press) just so I can evaluate my progress after 4 weeks. I also just want to mix up my reps a little bit.

Im also thinking about trying a different routine for a few weeks. Ive been doing a 5x5 for the last 8-10 weeks and have had great strength gains but I think it's time to try something else. Any suggestions are appreciated.
 
Day 31

Had a good back workout today. The pumps arent quite as intense now that Im off the dbol but that was to be expected. Im still feeling strong and that keeps me going. Ill probably up my reps to 8 for the next few weeks. do either 3x8 or 4x8. then maybe come March I can switch it up again.

Thanks man. I hope to rep it a couple of times. once is cool but 3-4 is obviously better. My only concern is my joints being able to keep up with the poundage. Normally when i get up to this kind of weight i start to get pains in my shoulders. Fortunately, i havent had any of those problems yet.
 
Yeah i hear that i keep getting shooting pains in my shoulder its a pain in the ass hopefully some joint repair for now and the eq on my next cycle will take care of my brittle bones lol
