So I fell through a house today

My gf and I were wanting to built a house so we were meeting today with the builder. When we got there he said he has a similar house that was in construction that we should come look at. As he's touring us through the house I walk over a piece of plywood that shifts... OH SHIT!!!

I fall through the sub floor and hit the basement floor!! Apparently I found where the stairs are going. So I go to the ER and get xrays. Nothing is broken but I've got a whole lot of cuts and bruises. It was an extra tall poured basement so I fell about 11 feet from where my feet were.

Just thought I'd share with you guys and gals my amazing day lol. This builder better work with me now or I'm suing the shit out of them!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad nothing broke too lol. I'm contacting a lawyer in the morning and gonna rub that in the builders face. Not gonna be a dick but I will get some upgrades for free!

I have insurance but the builder will be paying my deductible! I'm calling my lawyer in the morning but don't plan on suing. I'm just gonna let the builder I know what I could get him for, then try to get him for a few upgrades and closing costs for free. I feel thats more then fair.

Not quite a cat, I landed on my side lol. So that means I'm just damn lucky I didn't break anything.

I have a sprained wrist and my arm is pretty damn sore which is pissing me off. I just wanted to go to the gym today but it doesn't look like thats gonna be able to happen.

Unless your really hurt...I would think you a dick to sue them. Crap happens, and one of the reasons America is fked up is because anyone can sue for anything.

Him paying for the ER visit makes sense. Anything else...even threatening it makes you less of a man in my books.

I believe most lawsuits are fraudulent ways cowards rip people off.
