I have a huge problem. 9 days ago I was lifting weights deadlifting. when I squatted down grab the bar and went to lift the bar I heard a loud pop in my left wrist. I thought it would have healed by now but it is still too sore for me to do any lifting I have just been doing lower body. I thought it would have healed by now but it is still too sore to lift. there isn't any swelling and there isn't any major pain. If i twist it in certain positions i feel some minor pain. any suggestions I need to get back to lifting ASAP. I'm about to start my fifth week of cycling on Monday and this is a huge problem.

Don't risk a bigger injury. I would stop my cycle and run a proper post cycle therapy (pct). Go back after your wrist has fully healed.

if its real bad i would go to the doctor fust to make sure its okay... if it is heat and ice 20min on 20 min off... and tape that bitch up tight if you do lift. If your really dead set on getting back to the gym look into getting isolator straps. it puts the pressure 100% on your arms and not your wrists.

Sibtain 05 your right but i have to go the irresponsible route this time. Gettin big feels me. Ima get those straps asap. I gotta try to finish this strong. Im all in, no turning back.

Try to Google some rehab/strenghening exercise's for your wrists. Maybe you haven't developed your wrists/forearms enough to accommodate your current strength.

Like most everyone will probably say, DONT push it. Just let it take as long as it needs to heal. Even if that means throwing off ur workout route or not working out. Cause if you push it you are gonna not be working out for alot longer.

True

if you heard a loud pop then how do you know its just a strain and not something more serious? i would at least consult with a doctor and possibly get an mri/x-ray
