Suggestions for 3rd Cycle? (concerned about hairloss)

This cycle won't be until the middle of winter, but I'm looking to stock up now.

Here's my brief background/history:

Age: 27
AAS History:
1st Cycle: Wk 1-14 Test Enanthate
2nd Cycle (current): Wk 1-12 Test Prop
Wk 1-6 Anavar

I'm leaning toward Test E + Deca and possibly an oral...maybe D-Bol or Turinabol?

As the title states, I'm concerned about hair loss so I'd like to stray away from any compounds notorious for causing shedding. Yes, I'm aware ALL AAS can cause hairloss but I've been lucky so far on my 1st two cycles, using Liquid Dutasteride and an anti-DHT shampoo.

Thank you in advance :)

Stick with straight test and use Finastride as opposed to Dutastride.

Dutastride is overkill for hairloss from DHT. It inhibits both types of DHT isoenzymes. You only need to limit Type II isoenzyme. Type II is the androgen that binds to the androgen receptors on hair follicles and eventually causes hair loss.

Type I isoenzyme is receptor specific for the androgen receptors in smooth muscle tissue - you need that type of DHT. It will facilitate muscle growth.

If you inhibit the Type I isoenzyme to greatly, you'll limit muscle growth dramatically.

Lastly, get your Finastride from you doctor. Most docs will script you for it. Get generic Proscar. It's a 5 mg tablet and you can cut it into 4 pieces and take 1.25 mg daily. That is more than enough to ward off hairloss. Also the generic 5mg Proscar will be covered under insurance. I pay $10 for 90 tabs and that last for 360 day - $10 bucks for a year is damn cheap.

Also, if you are getting it from an MD and scripted on it, you never have to worry about the potency of the drug like some of these research chem sites.

Thanks for your response, Cashout. I know you are pretty much the guru of preventing hairloss, so I appreciate it.

I had no idea there was such a drastic difference between dutasteride and fina. I'll ditch my dutast and hop in fina immediately. I have some liquid fina on hand but I'm seeing my dermatologist next week so I'll see if I can snag a script for some proscar.

So you're saying just stick with testosterone? No deca? Nothing else? Please let me know.

toco 8 will help ........ good luck

Thanks :) I forgot to mention I've been using that as well for both cycles.

My hairloss prevention stack:
1) Liquid Dutasteride (switching to Finasteride)
2) Revita Anti-DHT Shampoo
3) Toco-8 (1 scoop twice/day in protein shakes)

I was hoping to try another compound in addition to test -- possibly deca, EQ, primabolan, etc. Any thoughts on a hair "safe" addition?

EQ would be fine. That would allow you to use less overall test in your cycle.

EQ has very very little interaction with the 5-AR enzyme to begin with so the use of Fina while taking EQ really has almost no impact on the drug. The good news is EQ is a very low androgenic compound so combined with Test and Finastride, you should be pretty covered on the hair loss issue.

No deca if you are using Finastride or Duta. Deca actually interacts with teh 5-AR enzyme to reduce to dihydronandrolone. That is a less androgenic compound than nandrolone itself. If you run Fina/Duta with Deca you'll actually see more androgenic side effects than you would otherwise.

stay away from dbol, you'll shed pretty bad more than likely

tbol is much easier on the hairline, i had no issues with it, and some people will tell you its even less likely to cause hairloss than anavar

if it were me i would do

1-6 tbol 50mg ed
1-14 test e 500
1-14 eq 500
finasteride throughout

or something similar

1-5 70mg Dbol
1-4 test Prop
1-16 Test E
1-14 NPP
10-16 80-100mg Anavar

HCG & Aromasin

1-5 70mg Dbol
1-4 test Prop
1-16 Test E
1-14 NPP
10-16 80-100mg Anavar

HCG & Aromasin

NPP and Finastride is a big no-no! You'll inhibit the reduction of nandrolone and increase the overall androgenic component of the drug. That will lead to a greater propensity for hair loss.

Dbol like Anadrol and Tren are murder on the hair line because of the unique androgenic properties of each drug. If you value your hair line, don't use them.

Tbol is interesting in that structurally, it only differs from Dbol in the addition of the CL group on the A ring. However, this really seems to reduce the androgenic component of the drug. Tbol has a very limited interaction with the 5-ar enzyme so its similar to DHT-reduced steroids in that capacity although it is not one itself. If you are concerned about your hairline, I'd say this would be an acceptable option but be careful not to use it for an extended amount of time or in high doses.

Doesn't Finastride also put you at higher risk of gyno as well ? So I guess you can't win with that product either way... :)

Thanks for the help guys! I really do appreciate it. I think I'm going to go with Test E, Equipoise, and I'll try my lucky with t-bol.

Thanks again :)

If you are on cycle and running test, you should be using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) so gyno should not be a factor either way.

How is using minoxodil during cycle?

Fine. I recommend it all the time to be used concurrently with finastride and not just on cycle if you have thinning hair.

However, it won't do much to prevent androgen-related hair loss from the conversion of test to DHT. Finastride does a great job of that.

Remember, you really need to use these drugs for and extend period to see any real regrowth of hair that has already started to thin.

Hey Cashout can you help me out? I'm on a test e only cycle. I'm about to throw in eq with it. Im only about 3 weeks in and just decided to add the eq.........Anyways back on topic. I have very good insurance from my work. I'm 36 years old and have a head full of hair. But while on cycle i notice it starting to thin. So, if I go to doc and get a script for the proscar what advice can you give me as on what to say? Do I just come straight out and tell them everything or do I just ask for it? lol........Just wondering and what about shampoos? Nizoral any good? Thanks for any help you can provide man

Go to your physician and tell him/her at your age you have noticed that your hair is starting to recede. Tell him/her that you have MPB in you family and you want to do something about it now before it gets noticeable because bald is not an option for you.

Tell him/her that you have read that finastride works great for most guys who have MPB recession.

Ask if he/she will prescribe you 5 mg Proscar so that you can cut it into 4 pieces of 1.25 mg pieces and take one piece per day.

Tell him you want Proscar and not Propecia because Proscar will be covered on your insurance.

There is no need to tell them about your AAS.

Shampoos have almost most no peer-reviewed studies that support their effectiveness. Finastride has more than 240 separate peer-reviewed studies that support its effectiveness as a hair loss prevention treatment. Stick with what the science supports. Don't waste money on stuff for which there is very little or no quantifiable support.

ok thank you man. If you see this can I just go to a family practice deal or do I have to see a specialist? Are there any side effects with proscar? Thank you
