Okay, I need some help please...

I have a guy friend who contacts me for Diet/exercise advice. I just found out He and his wife have recently separated and he wants to hang out with me.

This afternoon he told me he finds me very attractive and I don't know what his term of Hanging out really means. I don't want to assume it's just as friends and he attempt to make a move on me or something.

I think I should make it perfectly clear that we are friends and only friends and that I am not looking for anything more.

I don't want to be the person he uses to fill a void in his broken heart while he heals from the toxic/broken marriage he was in.

I never know what to expect when a man wants to hang out with me.

I don't know how to respond to him. How do you think I should handle this situation?

He wants to "hang out" which means he is hopeful of more. If he is a good guy he will go with your actions and you can prob just hang out...but he wants more imo.

If he isn't a great guy he will try something and you will be in a pinch. i would avoid this unless you want him.

I have told other guy friends in the past just as friends some did listen; while others practically forced themselves on me (the other guys are no longer my Friends).

So it scares me a little bc I don't know if they will listen to me or ignore and still attempt to make a move on me, maybe it's best for me to say My schedule is pretty busy and i don't have time to hang out, but you can contact me and I will try my best to be a friend via email/text/phone...

I have never flirted, shown interest in him in any way, and have never talked dirty it's been strictly platonic. But I don't know If he thinks I was that way with him bc he was married. :/

I did meet someone I really like, we have had a few dates already, and another one this Fri. I get to hear him Perform in one of the 3 bands he is in, he is very talented, kind, and he always makes me smile, I even met his Sister and his friends.

Ya, this other dude is getting a little clingy, skyping me while I am working, wanting to hang out with me, wants to send me progress pics of him but says that they are the kind he shouldn't send and that he will need to take progress pics in his Pj bottoms. (ewwww)

I told him I do not like getting naked pics sent to me, and don't expect any to come from

My gut tells me to stay away from this guy and with everyones perspective on the Term "Hang Out" is all I needed to help make up my mind that it is a bad idea to go along with it.

My biggest problem is I like helping ppl, I don't like seeing them sad or in pain. But he is a grown A** man who can take care of himself or seek help from a professional to overcome this pain he is feeling.

I can be a friend from a distance or not a friend at all.

I don't see why I need to meet up with him... It's not like he is one of my best friends who I need to help give emotional support to, this guy is just someone I help give diet and exercise advice too. I think his intentions from the very beginning were not to be just my friend.
