Too early for another glute shot?

Hello all, it's time to rotate back to my right glute which has had 8days of rest since my last 1cc/250mg test e shot.

Experienced some PIP but minor. It was very delayed though, didn't really notice it until day 3. Problem is that the right glute is currently NOT back to baseline and still somewhat tender (not warm, no sign of "problem," just a little tender from last shot)

Can I got ahead and pin the "same" area nonetheless? Should I try to pin a slightly different area of that right glute quadrant?

Thanks guys

As long as you don't believe there is an infection there should be no reason why you can't hit the right glute again, and I would agree to place the needle an inch or two away from the exact last tender spot. You could always hit a quad or delt too and allow the glute more time.

I did re-pin my quads when they were still sore from previous shot when starting TRT, sometimes I would get a pin that would be tender for a week and never had issues. As long as you've given it a week and it isn't infected you should be okay.

I should say, that because 1st pin was so painless (at first since PIP was delayed 3-5 days) I've not done some of the preventative stuff I should be doing (I do swap draw and injecting needle).

I don't however warm oil or massage flute immediately. After pinning I do however try and help "spread" the oil by working glutes squatting or by doing 100+ stories of stair climbing in the high-rise I live in.

Listen there are some rules of thumb but really your only worry other than PIP is the build up of scare tissue. In the old day I would pin over and over until I was hurting. Stupid, I didn't ask Simple Simon what up. lol
So the pain made me move. Man this was the 80's anyway.

If you keep hitting the same spot of course as Simon told me it's gonna hurt and tear up tissue , capillaries and what ever. The the mending tissue ends up scared and tough. There is some protocol to rotation but really if you aren't abusing a site , for me and most , it's not a big deal. You should know yourself what's going on and move, rotate and stop pining that spot long before you have any even minor problems.

Hey OP if your tissue gets tough you don't want the needle to break off and stay inside you do ya..... .........

Ah hahahaa Just kidding :dance2: I heard a newbie ask about that once. I am joking they don't break they bend.. :wavey:
