Translation...Prescribed Gyno Therapy in UK?

seen as tho us in the uk get free nhs treatment,wat do u think or what have u british guys been prescribed with to combat gyno?got a appointment soon,n am gonna tel em whats happenin so i can treat it.i jus hope they prescribe me with enuf,,shout bak n say wat u see,if u see it say it,roy walker classic!!

I have no confidence in UK Dr's to do anything in this field, I'd go with the knowledge obtained on the web anyday over a so called specialist..still if you can work out what you need first... mention it to the specialist and he will probably go with your info over his and you can get the meds for free.

dont think a uk dr will prescribe you any nolvadex or tamoxifen mate. they cant justify prescribing medicine made for women. plus your more likely to get help on the NHS with alcohol related problems or smoking problems.

I have not known anyone to get prescribed anything for gyno on the nhs

uk docs dont like prescribing anything but bloody anti biotics!

A UK doc will not be able to give you anything for gyno the best they will do is give you an appointment to see a specialist which will prob be 9 months down the line.
Lots of people knock the bBritish medical system but if used correctly it can help us as steroid users no end. We get free blood tests done, the doc can perscribe antibiotics and further treatment if you were to get a absess, my doctor is very good and somewhat intrigued by my drug taking and is always keen to help, what a lot of people forget is that if your doctor is not being helpful or is being a dick you can always ask to see another doc and eventually you will find someone who is prepared to help.

Tereskan does your dr give you Male hormone level blood tests or just the normal liver/kidney blood tests ?

Have never asked him, last one was a fasting test where I had all my lipid levels checked?

I asked mine but no go, i'd have to pay for it...the rest i.e lipids, liver function, kidney function were all free though
