What side needle?... I used 18G - it stung to say the least...

Can anyone recommend what size needle I should be using for a glute shot?...

I tried to use a 24G x 1" - but I couldn't draw up the Sustanon (sust) with that size (I warmed up the sus in some warm water)

The only other side needle I could get was 18G x 1.5" - man it was huge and hurt like hell!

Is there another size I should be using for the Glute?...

What's the maximum amount you can put in the Glute?... Is 5Ml too much?...
 
Just in case you don't understand what otlaw said..Use the 18g to draw up then switch the pin over to a 24 or 25g pin to shoot with. Ye I hear ya 18g that will get ya all right..Ouch!
 
Last time I used anything that big was my first cycle which was the redi-jects. Never again , talk about live and learn!
 
WOW!!! You must have some desire to use AAS, because if I thought the only way I could do it was to use an 18 GA pin I would give up the idea quick fast and in a hurry. I do use a 21 GA for glutes, which others say is kind of on the larger side. I am glad you came on here to get this cleared up as you would have had some serious scar tissue going on if you had kept on using the 18 GA for pinning. Good luck!
 
I use an 18G or 20G to draw and use a 23G 1.5" to inject. I used to use a 22G, but it was just a little too painful. I've used a 25G before, but it took a lot of pressure to get the oil to go in.

As far as how much you can inject in your glutes, I've done up to 3cc before. Someone on the board said in another thread that they've injected 5cc into the glute before, but that's more than I would like to attempt.
 
18 guage!!!! NO fuckin way bro. i stick with 25 1" pin the quads. They use 18s to draw blood at the drs office, couldnt imagine that big bastard ripping through muscles!
 
generally I pull with a 20g needle and shoot with a 23g, 25g, or 27g

25g into the quads, delts, pecs

23g into the glutes (for ease of injection when in an awkward twisting position)

27g into the biceps (which I do rarely, as its hard to find 1" 27g pins and I generally inject larger volumes than I feel comfortable shooting into my biceps)

*all of my gear is very thin, its made 50/50 with EO and Grape Seed Oil
 
I use 23 gauge ...... Man I cant believe you uses 18 gauge YOUR A MANIAC! Shits like the size of an exhaust pipe lol
 
My first shots were sustenon preloads with the 18 gauge 1.5 inch pins. They fuckin hurt!

You could draw with 24s in a pinch but yea it is slow.

I use 20s to draw and 1 inch 25s to shoot.
 
lol you shot with 18g? :O

I draw and pin with 23g/1.5inch (3ml). Suck all 3mls up with air and inject it into the vial to pressurize it. Then pull the plunger back and keep pressure pulling it back slightly harder than it pulls back and it draws in fine. I slap my leg a few times and poke myself. I can't even feel it.
 
It still hurts a bit today... LOL...

OK. I got myself some 24G x 1 needles today.
I'm going to do the Delts & Quads from now on. Can't face sticking the glutes again!
I'll only be injecting 1ml of Sustanon (sust) 250 EOD. Will rotate Delts & Quads.
