why do you think people shuld reach their "genetic potential" b4 aas?

Capt Props to you for coming out and saying the truth! I hate that also when people just jump on it and say you still can grow naturally. Who the hell really knows what they can or cant, and if they want to use to help them faster then more power to them.

Ya it is controversial...I myself was probably not at my natty potential but I did have 5 years of dedicated weight training under my belt...I wasnt going to dick around for another year to gain 5 or 10 more pounds....but I make my own decisions and not all of them are the best...I would still recommend having a great base to work with to avoid injury and to be as close to your potential as possible...but in all reality 99% of guys probably start gear before they ever hit natty potential...

well everyone can most likely still grow. Add more food to your diet and you will probably grow a little more. Its the guys that are looking for the quick fix that piss me off...steroids are only a step of the process...without diet and training down then its pointless...and most guys that are running cycles dont even know that or choose to not listen to it because they dont want to hear it and/or put in the dedication it truly takes...

^ This.

Personally, I'd be embarrassed to tell people I use steroids if my lifts were lower than Missy Coles' (I'm sure she's stronger than 3/4 of the newbs posting on here).

Capt you also have a 1 sided argument. If someone trained hard for 5 years with proper diet they would see natural gains that would put them close to that potential. If you read 90% of the post, they all state I've been training hard for two years or less, possibly gained 5 to 10lbs and still weigh 160 to 180. I understand every person is different and gain weight differently but what you are promoting is that it's not best to try to achieve everything you can on your own first, before resorting to a drug so essentially you are promoting that people should say fuck it there's no need for me to put the time in when I can use a drug to get where I want quicker and this is where injury comes into play. You also have guys who never trained or diet properly who use AAS and put on some weight so now they feel great but they don't know how to keep that weight once of AAS so it starts a cycle of thinking that everyone must be lying and continuously run gear to maintain. Without a proper base to build from it's almost impossible to retain what you would gain and you triple your chance for injury because it shows there is a flaw in what you are doing from the start.

I'm not saying everyperson needs to spend the next 15 years trying to get that last pound, but if you don't have the basics AAS will never truly work because you will yo yo up and down. Building toward natty potential means you put the time in and know how to make your body grow and retain that without drugs first.

And by calling it BS you are promoting that type of reckless use. The thing is no one can truely know exaclt what their natural potential is unless they never use AAS and push as hard and far as they can but that doesn't mean that we should tell people just get some gear cause that will work just as well and in the end you will get to the same place because that is not true. Now I'm sure there are some guys far offs from where they could be naturally who make the choice to use drugs and in that time figure out how to diet and train properly and have a good ending result but going up and down drastically sporadically throughout the years is not proper use. And I'm not talking guys who compete and bulk as much as possible then cut, I'm talking about guys who run a cycle or two a year and blow up then drop back to where they started or close to it then do it all over again and never really end up any better off

YES this is what i am trying to get across. This is a lifestyle change. thats wat people dont get. thats wahy all the fat asses crowd my dam gym after new years year after year. then quit cuz they dont lose weight. When you live this lifestyle it completly throws out things that have been instilled in you since birth. it is not an easy change. but anything is possible if you want it bad enuff.

wow......lmao....i agree with rj guys you did a great job explaining....i seriously doubt the twilight girl gained 30lb.... those are photoshoped abs and not much more...that kid is frickin tiny..wtf are you talking about.

I did not mean for it to come off as if i was saying fuck it. just use gear. I am saying that its different with every 1. sum 1 sed sum shit similair to this about me b4 and i was fucking pissed cuz they dont know me at all so why the fuck shuld they pass judgement? its 1 thing to give advice its a complete different story when some 1 fucking bashes you when they dont even know shit about you. i also agree that there are tons of people who make those awsome posts wehn they have been training for a week and they 150lbs..

I'm not bashing you at all. What im saying is that if you say this is bullshit then you are against the thought behind it. Now all the guys who want to think they don't need to put the work in first place will see this and say"yeah that is bullshit so I'll just get the gear.". Again that's not really my problem but why not guide them in the right direction if possible. If you think it's bullshit then great you are welcome to your opinion and I respect that but I simply feel you are wrong.

It was not my intention to make it come out like that and i do agree with what you are saying. jus came out wrong. i didnt say u were bashing me sum 1 else did on a completly different thread. and thats what got me thinking cuz i was fucking pissed.

Ok. Just want to be sure. It is a forum and we can have different opinions just because I have mine doesn't make it right. Just a discussion bro so no hard feelings.

nah none taken. thats what i wanted it to be. just to see where other people stand. But just to clarify that my intentions of this thread was not in any way to say that gear is the awsner and you dont have to have experience first. I am still a "newb." I just hate that people automatically assume you dont know shit. you know what i mean? you have sed it urself you have seen tons of people who post shit up ands its retarted. I never did shit untill i was 100% sure i had everything right. and my forst cycle was t400 with adex. smooth as can be. you have to c where i am coming from atleast a little bit?

My opinion is No.
My uncle has trained for 15 years had hes still not reached his genetic potential.
And before you think its his diet or training is out of wack he travels all of the country training with the best.
Guy currently weights around 86kg 3%bf and can Dead lift over 400kg
Competes in a lot of competitions with guys twice his weight and still wins.

I think if you have someone who has the basics nailed down then let them do it.
Wee all know that food makes us grow.
We know that training helps is build the muscle we want.
Stuck at 225lb for 2 month we all know more food is needed.

I have been training for 3 years,
Went from a 110lb to 180lb
Before AAS i gained around 2lb every 3 month while keeping my body fat round about the same.
I was happy with it but me being so determined to become bigger and stronger than anyone i knew i jamp on AAS.

4 month later i am 26lb heavier and bigger with a few % added to the old BF.
Once i finish this cycle i am waiting 5 years and will do another one.

I don't agree with people jumping on AAS and staying on because without it they can't gain.

Remember this is just my Opinion.

I think thats a load of shit. Cuz theres tons of people here that did not do that and it could take a lifetime to do it. Me personnelly i was living the life style 4 4yeas before i used anything. i never even thought about it. I lost 47 lbs in my first year and i weighed 155lbs lol. then from there on i bulked in the winter clean and then leaned down for summer. after all this time im like WHAT THE FUCK. no matter how clean i eat no matter how hard and or long I had been training i culd NEVER look like guys in magazines and shit. Then I find out its cuz they are using aas and i was like no way. and after doing tons of research cuz any 1 who knows me knows im a google freak. I was fucking shocked when I read about stallone and truck load of gh lol. Then i started noticing transformation in actors in like 6 months... gerard butler mickey rourke brad pitt CARROT TOP and that twilight kid. ReASONS Like this are what made me intrested in aas and i used steroids the first time right b4 my 5 year mark. Then finally i started looking what i wanted to look like and felt like all my hard work was finally paying off and i havnt looked back since. SOooo what you guys think?? Dont flame all the newbs lol not all of us are as dumb as you think!

You kind of answered your own question. You felt like you hit the ceiling of your potential. You exhausted all possibilities in the 4 years you were living the life style. Its fine to look for the thing that will take you to the next level, everybody in this forum has. To be safe you could've waited for your body to stop developing (endocrine system, bone plates ) but you didnt, big whoop. You eat right, train hard, so you've got the basics down.
