ok ive read a bit online and this does seem to be pretty common, its not heapsss red, but it can look redder at different times. mainly my feet, face, back, shoulders, hands, upper chest. i had my bp checked a few weeks ago and it was perfectly normal :S also my liver and kidney was a tiny bit out but nothing to worry about. is this a normal side affect of deca? cos my cycle of test only didnt do this last time. any insight would be much appreciated. at this point im not worrying because it hasnt got any worse, but i will probably see a doctor within the week, even though i know its going to be the usual look at me like im some retard for taking roids and not want to help me type talk.. lol. ill just add, my skin feels a little hotter aswell.

yeah well its mainly my feet and ankles that go really red, especially when im in the shower for a while. if i lay in bed and lift them up they lose the redness :S so seems like a blood thing, blood pressure or something, but ill go to docs and findout anyway i guess. there isnt any pain or anything.

My neck always gets bright red on cycle, with or without test. My BP checks fine too. And it looks just like sunburn too, i can take my finger, push on it, remove it and there's a white spot there for a second. I always thought it was normal. Never thought about it too much after i confirmed my BP was ok. I did get an infection once though, and the doc prescribed anti biotics and prednisone. I dont know if im allergic to prednisone, or if the prednisone reacts with AAS. I had the worst reaction. BP was sky high, i was climbing the walls. Im just saying, i dont think prednisone and AAS mix.

sounds like bp, u should be checking it regularly while on a cycle and not just during doctor visits.... but if its an allergy it could be to the solvents in the deca. the bb.

do your ankles swell? blood down in feet area can suggest venous insufficiency or early heart failure...

yeah my feet a little bit swollen, but ive heard deca can do that often. its not bad. well im booked in tomorrow anyway, i wont say im on roids unless she asks lol. its not my heart cos i had full blood work done a few weeks ago and everything was fine.

I would NOT tell the doc you are on AAS. Insurance companies are looking for reasons to deny coverage these days. IMO you do not want that on your medical record.

I would not tell your Dr. If you do, this will be added to your medical history and this information will stay with you for the rest of your life.

I get it too....
mainly my neck/upper chest it looks sun burnt... I check my BP all the time..(at least 2x per week while on) and its normal... but.... im red..lol

I would say that the redness or flushness of the skin is quite common. I have heard over and over of this happening..including myself. If things are swelling up Im almost certain its due to your BP. I have the same problem with certain drugs..usaully happens in my sleep when I lay on my arm ..or if one leg is over the other.

Stone Cold said this a while back:

Yes, high hemoglobin will cause a red tint to your skin. My cardiologist says the only thing you can do is give blood, that will keep your hemoglobin count in check.
Proviron/or any Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will not do anything for hemoglobin count.
