Yeah, I usually don't go all the way down on close grips because of my shoulders anyways.

Thanks for the heads up.

How close are yougripping the bar? Louie simmons rec your index finger boardering the smooth section of the bar. CLose grips can bother my shoulders too. I just try to stay as tight with them as I can and keep the wweight little lower.

Keep up the good work winter.

before i lay back i pinch my shoulder blades...it feels like it shortens my stroke. i put my index finger on the border of the smooth and the grip... and why dont you buy a weighted belt...its 20 bucks...its improved my strength on bent rows and bench....i do weighted pull ups as well which works wonders.

Alright, I'll stop with my excuses with the shoulder for dips - I hate making stupid excuses, but it was the only one that was legit.
I'll go out and try getting a belt ASAP. You're right. I do need to up my pullups anyways.

wheres the bent over barbell rows, and the t bar?
I don't like adding too much volume in my workouts. I throw in some chest supported t-bars and bent overs once in awhile. I like how my routine is going right now because I'm constantly moving up on weights.

& don't worry about it. What you said actually helped me because since my pullups are improving, I will be needing a belt sooner or later.

:D

I don't know, I dislike close grip bench a lot because it put a lot of stress on my elbows and it hurt.. Dips, maybe. weighted is defintely a no because some retards at my gym stack 4plates on the belt and break the damn thing every time... so that's a no go. .

I use a rope to hang plates from my neck. It works but sometimes it leaves marks on my neck for 2 days.

ah the hip abductors

good to see me and you are the only guys at gotham to use it man

maybe thats why others dont get as good leg gains as us

Update
After one week and a day of intense conditioning, I'm running into a tad bit of trouble. I have noticed that my biceps have been more noticeable and so have my triceps when I do a double bi shot, but my gut and love handles seem to have actually grown!! I'm guessing that its just a mental thing, but I don't believe I've ever seen this much fat on my belly before.

My diet is consisting of very high protein intakes and moderate carb intakes. Fat is put to a minimum. I think that the high protein intake is leading me to all this extra fat on my belly.

Should I cut down a bit on the protein and add some more carbs?
