its hard to "isolate" the chest muscles unless youre doing flyes
becnhing is a compund move and thus you are using more than one muscle group at a time..you may hae some issues going on where one muscle group compensates for a weaker chest??
yes i know just trying to answer ur question
i have a non juiced 615 gym bench-nothing great
but everyone else that i listen to with big big benches all seem to say the same thing
quote from Scott Yard 840 bench @ 275
"ive always found that when i am strongest in my shirt, i am weakest raw"...
isolation and cables ae not part of WSb at all-although they may be done as assistance but more often they are not
same goes with PB's routine
only way you will know is if you give something a try and see where it gets you but give it a good 6-8 weeks
front squats will hit the core MUCH harder
but they will not hit the quads any different then reg squats assuming you use the same stance and hit the same depth for both
i think bicep work is way overrated
do you need to do bis in addtion to back work? YES
bottom line is your bis WILL NOT grow unless you are adding weight to your frame!!!!!
i do my concentric GM's the exact same way (off pins)
the only disadvantage is that when the bar is on pins and you get closer to your max its very hard to get the bar set right on your back.with chains its easier to get inot position..
so other than comfort theres no difference as far as...
have you gained?
youre prolly eating the same amount of cals that caused your weight gain but now its only a maintenance level of cals..
try slowly upping your cals again and see what happens
yes it is also possible that it may be your training as well
given ur height its going to take a lot longer to fill those wheels out..
youll most likely run inot a wall if you just keep adding weight to the bar ( youll need to adjust more than the weight to keep getting your squat poundages up there)
get some video of your squat so we can see what you...
