1 month on TRT (injections)

To cut out a lot of the story, here are the facts:

1. Started on Clomid due to wanting another child. That was in Aug of 2014. Test was up to 900 when I stopped in Dec of 2014.

2. Started patches in April of 2015, after 1.5 months on patches, test was 180.

3. Started injections 1X per week, .4ML (80mg) in June 2015. Test after 1 month was 281 (tested the day before my shot. Full results

Estradiol 18.66
Test 281 (280-800)
LH .100
WBC 6.1 (4-10.5)
RBC 4.95 (4.4-5.7)

4. Still felt lethargic, so I started dosing every 3.5 days and doubled dose to .4ML every 3.5 days. It's only been 2 weeks but still don't feel a change.

Questions:

Is there a difference in feeling (mood and energy) when you take Clomid and naturally raise test or does it feel different on injections?

How long until every 3.5 day dosage until energy gets better?

Anything else I can try?

Thanks

Some guys never feel the positive effects of Clomid despite their improved hormone levels. It's kinda hit or miss.

I'd give it a couple of months on your new protocol before expecting to see any positive changes. It's rarely a quick process. Getting dialed in can take longer than we'd all like it to, just gotta be patient.

It takes longer than two weeks to kick in (reach blood serum saturation levels). You just need to give it more time. Probably another 2-4 weeks.

Completely agree - I'm going on week 6 and just starting to feel a bit of a change. It takes time...

I'm about 6 weeks in myself. For the last two weeks I started every 3.5 day pins of .4ml (80mg of 200mg.)

I just tested and my test was 750. This was on a tues before my injection. I pin on Tues night and Sat mornings.

I'm still feeling fatigued but I'm getting freq erections.

Two questions:

1) should fatigue go away since my T levels are at 750?

2) Since I'm pinning every 3.5 days, when is the best time to get a blood test and why?

Thanks

What is your estradiol at?

Last time I had that checked was July 10th, and it was 18.

My Dr. won't do an AI, what else could I use?

If that is from the Regular Estradiol Assay your E2 is too low. If the Sensitive Assay it should be good. Do you know which you had?

Regardless, you do not appear to require an AI.

P.S.Can you confirm that is 18pg/ml

Yes it says estradiol and it was measured in 18 pg/ml.

When I got that blood test, it was after one month on TRT and I was taking .4ML per week. I was tested on the day before my next pin. After that test I started to take .4ml every 3.5 days, so my last test was total T only and it was 750. I get another full blood test in 2-3 weeks.

When should I get blood drawn on a every 3.5 day schedule.
What should my Estradiol test be?

the morning of your next shot..

we need to know if it the regular or sensitive estrogen test you took.. can you ask your doc?

You essentially doubled your dose. As testosterone goes up, so does estradiol. I'm betting your next set of bloodwork will present a different picture. If you don't want to wait for your doctor to pull labs, look at Megatron28's signature.

I do not understand why doctors that are willing to put guys on TRT don't follow through. Estradiol is JUST AS IMPORTANT if not more so than testosterone - yet so many just pull a total test panel and call it good.

My guess is the regular, but I'll have to ask. Also since you recommend the morning before my next pin, will that be my highest level or lowest?

Where do I want my estradiol at compared to my testosterone? Im taking .8ml of 200mg (split every 3.5), is that a normal weekly dose?

From reading all the posts, it looks like the highest I can get my Total T while keeping estradiol and RBC in check is the way to go, is that thinking wrong?

20-30pg/ml is the sweet spot. Too low is just as bad as too high. As halfwit said, increasing your T will increase estradiol because your body will convert T into estradiol. Generally speaking the higher body fat you have the faster the conversion process.

FYI.. At 50mg of Cyp E3.5D my estradiol was 57pg/ml (non sensitive) - a little too high. I'm about 12-14% body fat and 163 lbs.

If my Estradiol gets too high, what's else besides lowering my dosage can I do? I read that going to every 3.5 days vice a 7 days should help, but is ther anything over the counter I could use. I'm pretty sure a Dr described AI is off the table.

Yes - DIM and Zinc will help to lower Estrogen. My Doc gave me an AI, but I'd rather go the supplement route first before taking another med. Google it, lots of very detailed info about how they work as well as dosing. You may have to order Dim online - I couldn't find in any local stores. DIM is very cheap. I think I paid like $5-6 per bottle.
