1st Cycle: Test E (500/wk)

Today im going to rest and do legs tomorrow.

My band has a show tonight and i'll be in the studio all day today finishing our cd, but i'll try to get as much good food in me as i can.

ay man i just wanted to give you a shout out and say thnx for sharing in such detail. this log is awesome for a newbie like myself. great for the learning curve!

im researching a ton and intend to do my first cycle this fall ...i have much to learn. but thnx to this forum, all the vets on here, and logs/threads like this one, my knowledge and insight are advancing lightyears everyday.

keep this up brotha, your doin a killer job. i know it takes extra time and energy out of your day - respect!

Thanks bro, the show went great btw..didnt get in till like 4am. but man this Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is really a pain. im going to the beach on week 4 and dont know how the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) would stay refrigerated through the long 7 hr drive...if worse comes to worse i will start it the beginning of week 5. I know thats prob not ideal, but better than nothing.

Sunday, June 26th

After a long night last night and much needed sleep, i decided to try and hit legs, but man was i tired.

Despite being tired, my workout went pretty well. i had to use the smith machine some cause i didnt have a spot. I feel like my strength has improved because a maintained a solid 315 8 times for 3 sets (even though its on the smith), and ive never done as much weight on calf raises and lunges as i did, especially right after squats.

Gym: Legs/Traps
Squats (smith): 315x8x3
Lunges (each leg, smith) 135x10, 145x10, 155x10
Sitting calf raises: 95x10x2, 100x10x2
(light) Lef Extensions: 200x10x3

Traps:
Reverse barbell shrugs: 205x10x4
supersetted w
DB shrugs: 70x10x4


So in the gym today when i was cooling down with some leg extensions, this scrawny 19y/o was benching 155 on the other side of the gym. I was glancing in the mirrors looking around during the leg extensions and see this kid struggling w the weight...his reps were getting slower and slower. Then i see the bar start to go down and he couldnt get it up..it was just sitting on his chest so he yelled at the dude in front of him but he didnt hear cause he had headphones in. by this time the bar was on him for 6 seconds. so i ran over and hauled it off him..hahah

anyway....

Sides/Gains
I havent had any bloating or sides that i can tell, thanks to the aromasin. As i said earlier i prob wont start the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) till the beginning of week 5. hopefully the boys wont be too long gone by then. Strength gains have been a little above average. Noticed better pumps and a little more strength/endurance. As far as injecting, my legs arnt getting as sore as they did with the first 2 pins.

My weight before my workout today was 178, and after my workout was 179.

My eating has been solid everyday, except yesterday.lol.. but its back on track. im hoping in the next few weeks the test will really kick in. My 5th pin is tomorrow morning (right quad).

The next few days look like this:
Monday: Chest/Abs
Tuesday: Back
Wednesday: Off
 
You can get a mini cooler and have some of those ice pack from the store when you travel, I have done it you just need to switch it out every 8 hours or so. Why is the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) such a pain? are you injecting sub q with a slin pin?

sorry i didnt mean pain, but more of a hassle because of the refrigeration. I have not pinned the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) yet but i am doing subq which shouldnt hurt.

I'm actually thinking about starting the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) this week. My concern with it was storing it thru the 6 hour drive to the beach but a cooler full of ice might work. So im debtaing pinning today.

And the first week on cycle i felt really good, (all in my head im sure), now im beginning week 3 and feel about normal. My lifts in the gym are focused and i have great pumps, but for now i feel normal. I guess the test takes 4-5 weeks to really kick in.
 
Monday, June 27th

I did my 5th pin this morning and it went very smooth. After getting 2 meals in this morning i went to the gym. I got a couple more reps on flat bench than last week, but when i tried incline DB, my left pec became sore and i could hardly do any weight..so i just did light incline and some flys to finish.

Gym: Chest (when i say 9.5 reps, it means the last rep was with help..so 9 plus a help rep = 9.5)

Barbell Flat: 205x9.5, 215x6.5,5 225x3
Incline DB: 65x10x4 (my chest was sore)
Flat flys: 40x10, 45x10x2
Incline flys: 40x10x4

In between flys i did some abs.

Overall i had a good pump in the gym and was happy to get a few more reps than last week, but i was bummed about incline..i put 185 on the bar and knocked out 4 reps easy and then on the 5th on my chest got real sore and i had to stop.

My weight after lifting today was 179.5. The past few days ive been hovering around 178-179.5. Hopefully this week i'll surpass 180.

My diet is still in check, this is what i've had today so far..(4:18pm)
Meal 1: 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup oatmeal, 2 pieces whole wheat toast, 12.oz milk
Meal 2: 5oz. chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice
Meal 3: 44g Syntha-6 Protein powder
Meal 4: 1 plate full of meat lasagna, 12.oz milk

I'm about to have meal 5 in 30min. then meal 6 & 7 later tonight.

For the most part ive been alternating between barbell bench and DB each week..should i continue this or stay w one every week?

ALSO, i'm planning on doing my first HCG injection tomorrow. I'll prob do 250iu on Tuesday, and Friday. I guess continue the HCG till my last Test inject.

As far as Test goes, i do feel good/bigger but i cant wait till it really kicks in. Its only been 2 weeks and 1 day, but i know it varies from person to person...for some it takes 2 weeks, others 5-6 weeks. I guess im just anxious to see if the gear really kicks in..(i got it from a very respectable source).

Anyway, enough talking...i'll be back tomorrow after doing some back!
 
Ya when I took my igf-1 and it needed to be cooled it was a tiny cooler (like you would send with a school lunch for a little kid) with a few ice packs

...dude all you have to do is read from other people's experiences on test to find out. Most people gain 20+lbs, good increase in strength, etc..the list goes on.
 
Tuesday, June 28th Part 1

This morning i decided to go ahead and begin HCG. i only have 5000ius and don't plan on buying anymore because i don't want to risk someone else finding the package. So with only 5000iu i plan on running 500iu/wk for 10 weeks. (week 3-12).

i gotta tell ya, mixing the hcg was not my forte. I tried to make sure the pressure was right in each vial but had trouble at the same time. But overall i think i mixed it pretty good. I shot 250iu (1/2cc) w a slin pin sub q and it was so easy. (makes me which the test was that easy). Right now my lower ab has a little sting to it, nothing big.

Once the HCG was mixed i wrapped the vial up in a plastic bag and put some protein powder in a cupoware container and burried the vial in the protein..then tossed it in the fridge. Lets hope no know finds it :p

Now hopefully my balls wont shrink up. I though i read on another forum that HCG might cause acne? is this true?

Tuesday, June 28th Part 2

After getting a good breakfast and lunch in, as well as beginning HCG, i went to the gym to do some back.
I decided not to deadlift today because my legs were still sore and pretty much my whole core was sore from abs yesterday..but im going to do deads either tomorrow or thursday.

Gym: Back
Barbell bent over rows: 175x10, 185x10,8,8
Reverse close grip lat pulldowns: 180x10, 195x10, 200x8x2
Reverse wide grip lat pulldowns: 170x8x3
T-Bar rows: 3 plates x 10, 145x8x3
Pullups: 10,8,6,6 (just to cool down)

After i was done lifting i checked my weight and i am up to 181.5!! I was so pumped to finally break the 180 mark...and even go 1.5lbs past it.

"Sides/gains" so far...
I havent noticed any sides really..i few small zits on my face but theyve gone away for the moment w acne treatment. My weight has increased some and my strength is the most its ever been, although not a huge change. I have noticed that i have been tired lately. When i get to the gym though i always get pumped up, but in the morning and afternoon i find myself pretty tired. idk why.

I normally would rest tomorrow and then hit arms on thursday, but im leaving for the beach this saturday so i might just get arms, shoulders, and legs in before saturday. (then take saturday and sunday to recover..
 
Wednesday, June 29th

Today i was going to deadlift but decided to just focus on bi's and tri's today and do shoulders/deads tomorrow.
I had an amazing arm pump today and felt really good. I also did the most weight ive ever done on a few things: skullcrushers and weighted dips.

Gym: Arms

Biceps:
Preacher curls (machine,stack the plates): 95x10, 100x10, 102.5x8x2
supersetted w
One arm cable curls: 50x10 (each arm..just getting a good concentrated curl)
Standing DB curls: 35x8x4 (really concentrated...couldve done 40/45 but wanted to keep real good form)
Overhead cable curls: 60x10, 65x8x2

Triceps:
Weighted Dips: bodyweight + 65lbs x 10x2, 70lbs x 7,6
Skullcrushers (ezbar): 95x10, 105x7,6
Straight bar pulldowns: 165x8, 160x8, 125x10
supersetted w
(light) Reverse pulldowns: 110x8x2, 100x8


My workout felt great today. Before i left the gym i weighed myself and weighed 182.5! Slowly moving on up. During my workout i drink some water blended w Xtend powder and after i drink 12 oz of my protein shake..so im sure my weight is influenced a little by the water, but i do sweat alot during my workout which loses some of the water...anyway, im still progressively weighing more despite the drinks.

I normally wear wrist straps when i lift just cause my right wrist use to hurt alot but the past 2 days i havrnt worn them. hopefully my wrists will get stronger without wearing the straps. So that is a small adjustment on all my lifts w out the straps.

So tomorrow i'm doing shoulders and deadlifts...not sure if im lifting friday or not, probably.

Anyway, i'm going to get Meal 4 in..later.
