1st Cycle: Test E (500/wk)

Keep the post coming bro! Btw, how do u rotate your pins? (ie, left quad, left delt and so on) Im really interested in how you feel after ur cycle is done and during the post cycle therapy (pct) and how the meds make u feel. Thanks bro :beertoast

I alternate between right and left quad each pin, and yeah only time will tell
 
Friday, July 8th Part 2

Today i found the energy to hit the gym after an exhausting drive back from vacation late last night.
I was really wanting to do chest (bc i like the pump) but I knew i should do legs..i even made some new PR's! (in bold)


Gym: Legs
Squats (NO smith): 315x8, 325x8, 335x8
Sitting Calf Raises: 115x8x2, 90x10x2
Lunges (smith): 175x8x2
Leg Press: 400x8, 450x8x2

I felt really good in the gym and was glad to be back in the routine. I had a good leg workout despite being tired.

So after my workout i was excited going to the scale to see where my weight was at...I mentioned earlier that i just got back from vacation, which even though my diet consisted of primarily chicken, potatoes, rice, eggs, etc.. i did have to eat out each night and ate some food that i probably shouldnt have..but im happy to report my weight is at 186!! My abs arnt that cut, but are visible but im happy w my progress so far :)

Tomorrow i'll be hitting chest hard and will see how it goes...later
 
Great log dude I just started my first cycle of Test E 500mg / Week. I'm two pins in so far and much like you I feel a little stronger and whatnot but I'm sure it's simply in my mind. I'll be subbing to this thread

What PCT are you doing bro? Any Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and HCG during hte cycle?

Saturday, July 9th

First off...Congrats to Derek Jeter!! Surpassed the 3000 career hit milestone this afternoon with a homerun! He went 5 for 5 today with a HR, 3 singles, double and made the game winning RBI!

After doing legs yesterday my quads and hams were killing me! I could barely walk up my stairs cause they were so sore..but this morning they are better which is good. I went to the gym and did some chest today. My workout partner couldnt make it to the gym today so i decided to do dumbell presses no spot. I made some new PR's today! (in bold)

Gym: Chest
DB Flat Press: 100x10, 105x8,7,5
Incline (smith): 165x8, 170x8x2 (i was fatigued after flat bench)
Flat DB Flys: 45x8x3
Incline DB Flys: 35x10x3 (concentrated)

I was happy to have gotten 8 reps with 105s today! On my second set of 105 i asked this 18y/o guy to spot me and once i hit my 7th rep i took a little slower to get the weight up and he immidiatley grabbed my left wrist and pulled up, making the weight come inward and fall on my pec:flamingma what a retard! ugh i was pissed, so next set i just did it myself and only got 5 reps. Luckily my pec is fine.

Overall i had a great pump and my shoulders are looking huge IMO. They look alot broader and fuller.

After lifting i went to the scale and weighed in today at 187.5!

i did a little abs today also to try and firm up my lower abs that were rough from vacation lol.

Tomorrow if im not too sore ill do back and then arms on Monday, then take Tuesday off. man my scheulde got all screwed up. oh well...im making progress
 
Can I ask why you use a smith machine in lieu of conventional squats in the rack?

I think ive used the smith machine only twice this cycle because i didn't have anyone to spot me. I didn't want to try new heavy weight without one.

But yesterday i did my most weight ever (335x8) without the aid of the smith machine, so i was happy.

good log so far man keep up the hard work. stay away from the machines if at all possible and doesn't ur gym have a actual sqaut rack with catch bars, if so u don't need a spotted. keep up the good work man and gl on the rest of ur cycle.

and yeah i always try to stay away from the machines, i prob use the smith for squats 10% of the time.

The gym i go too is pretty sick so they have everything lol.

Its cool bc before my cycle i could only do squats 315x8 on the smith and maybe get like 4-6 reps on the squat rack, but now im getting 335x8 on the squat rack haha
 
Sunday, July 10th

Today my chest was pretty sore from yesterday so i decided to take a day to rest before hitting back. But i'll update tomorrow after my workout.

I guess bc my lifts have increased in weight, my body is sore for like 2-3 days after working that muscle group.

I'm have aromasin but havn't started using it yet as I havn't run into a reason for it. I have Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that will be here anytime this week and plan on starting it after week 2. (Monday of next week) post cycle therapy (pct) will be Nolva and Clomid for the standard doses.

I also took today off and will hit legs tomorrow. I'm ready for another week.

Monday, July 11th

Hey guys, so today i did my 9th inject as well as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) pin and it went fine. I headed to the gym and did back today. I had a real good pump in the gym. My workout was a little different this week bc i based it on Dorian Yates' DVD on back.

Gym: Back
DB pullovers: 70x10, 75x10, 80x8x2
Triangle pulldowns: 125x8x4 (real concentrated)
DB Bent Over Rows: 90x8x2, 95x8
Sitting Straight Bar Rows: 150x8x3
Deadlifts: 225x8 (my lower left side of my back was hurting so i stopped the deadlifts)
T-bar rows: 3 plates x 8x3

My strength was not quite as good as back day before i left for vacation, but i still had a good workout and my weight today is 188.5!!

Im doing arms tomorrow, until then, i'll be eating the rest of the day ahah
 
Why dont you start your back day with heavy compounds such as your deads or bb rows. imo db pull overs is more of a finisher.

i always start back day with deads when im doing hevay deadlifts..but today i knew my back would not cooperate with deads cause it was sore so i just tried some light ones near the end of my workout..

have to agree always do heavy first to make sure u can lift the heaviest weight possible then as u progress through ur workouts u can start to hit the smaller muscles in between heavy sets. at least that's my opinion but u were wise not to push heavy deads with a sore back. never turns out well.
