Bow hunting is great. Its so quiet out there during bow season and the deer get so close it really gets your heart pumping. Cant deal with all the jackasses in the woods during gun season, its just too overcrowded. Dont know much about the new bows though, im old school. lol. They look cool though and shoot an arrow like a missle.

I like grouse hunting, and may I ask what you guys mean by (dove) What I understand is it's a white pigeon that people keeps as pets??

^^Dove look kinda like pigeons. I've never heard of anyone keeping them as pets. There are several different kinds of dove but you can treally tell them apart until you have them in hand. Mourning dove and white winged are the most common. They are a gray color not white, There pretty good to eat if you like dark meat. We dont have nay grouse here in Oklahoma anymore, we used to have prarie chickens and a couple diff kinds of grouse but cattle farmers spraying weeds ran them outta here. When I was a kid we had good numbers of bobowhite quail but since no one traps anymore the predators are pretty thick and also farming hurt them, same with pheasants there are only a few in huntable numbers in northwest Oklahoma

I love spearfishing on the reef. It's 10 billion times better than pole fishing. I go night diving for lobster. Go for octopus (Tako) with a 3 prong spear and go with a speargun for parrot fish (UHU) and blue trevally (ULUA). I love free diving and always feel happy and comfortable in the water. I always feel good after I dive even if I don't get anything. Here in Patong the water is kinda murky. I have snorkeled Patong beach, Karon, Kata and Kata Noi. I see a lot of familiar reef fish and some I have never seen before. This is the Andaman Sea and I am used to the Pacific Ocean. There is nothing like hunting the reef in clear water. The ocean revitalizes you and relaxes your body and mind and spirit. I love it.

I go spear fishing too. Oahu has some pretty decent places unfortunatly they are overfished. I have a few three pronged poles but I bought a Riffe last year. Double bands and wooden frame makes for a great gun underwater.. Only problem is, I cant hold my breath for very long!! The fish dont care that you are there, as long as you arent blowing bubbles!!

Riffe is a great speargun. If u keep going your lungs will naturally expand and grow. U get a great workout diving but ur so much into the hunt u don't know ur exercising. I love the reef and the world underwater. Keep diving and u will get better at it. Post a pic of a blue-green uhu u speared with that gun! I like see cuzin.

^^^Yeah she was a pretty good fighter. I didnt realize how bigt she was at the time or I woulda got it mounted but I just threw her back to reproduce. I'm 100% catch and release except for walleye

Oh man! I wish!! I havent shot any Uhu.. I want to so bad! Its the chicken of the sea!! and beautiful! I did notice major cardio improvements tho but since Ive been back ive really been taking up the surf.. Nothing hotter than a tanned local girl that can ride waves!!
